I do not recommend going to Davidâs Bridal- at all. I regret that I did, I really do. My first consultant was Lexi, she was nice, but she was in no way truly helpful. I didnât truly know what I want, so she was sort of helpful in picking out the dress .All the dresses I picked out were big on me, she didnât even bother to clip me up or zip me up. So the straps were practically hanging down on me. Standing next to girls who were clipped so their dresses fit them better, I just felt not beautiful. I ended up going with a dress that I liked at the time, Lexi ordered the wrong color. I specific asked for white, and she ordered me the champagne, which I didnât ask for. Once I caught the mistake, that dress wouldnât be able to arrive till late June of 2023 and my wedding is July 23,2023.I called the Manager crying because of the experience, I just wanted to return my dress and go elsewhere,- she apologized and said she was speak to Lexi about what the expectations were going forward, and the manager wanted to me come in to find a new dress. So I went in and got assigned a new consultant, Hannah. Hannah was really nice and very sweet. We picked out all different kind of dresses, and she helped me create a vision outside of my vision, meaning I was picking dresses I didnât normally think to wear. Well thatâs how I found my current dress. The manager was attentive the whole thing, making sure things were going good etc. I loved my dress, my only issue with Hannah is she ordered me a size up from the original dress I tried on, but once the dress arrived at our final try on to make sure everything is a go. The dress was still tight to zip up. I asked Hannah about this and she said itâs fine, but I went to a seamstress outside of David bridal, and my alterations lady said that it is not fine, and she doesnât understand why DB would like me walk out with a dress that fit so tight, and their was no âplayâ. By that time it was past the return window, We came up with an idea to completely alter the back into a low v-cut. I am so upset at Davidâs and this whole experience. I understand mistake happen, but this is my time to be happy, and I was really excited to go dress shopping. It was clear I should gone...
Read moreIf I were going to rate the store based on my first bridal appointment here I would have rated it one star. It was on a Saturday and it was not at all what I expected for my first bridal appointment. It was way too crowded. I could barely move and the person who helped me was just a dress fetcher and nothing more. However, this evening I went to pick up the dress I originally ordered (with no appointment on a Tuesday evening) and Kristal immediately greeted us when we entered. She had the other ladies take my name and took me right back to the fitting room. My mom explained that I may want to look at a few other dresses and Kristal & Krista got right to work asking me what I liked and brought a few options. I tried those on and explained what I liked and didnât like about them and they brought me a couple more options. I ended up finding one I really liked but wasnât sure on the open back. That was when the amazing and wonderful Inna stepped in to show me all the possibilities and demonstrated what we could do to customize it to my liking. Krista was wonderful with helping me try on accessories and different shoes. I ended up finding a veil and hair piece that matches the dress I picked out and I am very excited to see what Inna does at the alteration appointment. Overall these three women were absolutely wonderful. They made me feel like a bride should and were understanding and made me feel very comfortable. They all three helped me to pick between the new dress or keeping the original I ordered when I wasnât sure what I wanted to do. I am very grateful for them and canât thank them enough for helping my mom, daughter and myself experience a wonderful, once in a lifetime memory of picking out my wedding dress. Thank you all so much and I recommend you make an appointment on a week day to get the maximum care for a...
Read moreThis was my final fitting and I was very pleased with everything- dress was perfect, bustle looked great- I just wish the woman could communicate better. I asked her to steam my veil at the beginning, but she misunderstood and just replied yes, never taking the veil. She struggled with the zipper and left it half open, and when I asked if it was up, she lied and said yes. Next, she didnât lace the back completely, skipping every other loop, and didnât take it to the bottom of my back. I had to ask her to redo it because I needed to see how itâs supposed to be done, that way I can relay it to my maid of honor who will be doing it at my wedding. Once I saw everything completed, I was so pleased! At the end of the visit, she came to me with a blank piece of paper, asking for my signature. I simply asked what I was signing for, and she did not understand my question. She became slightly frustrated, explained she didnât understand me, then demanded that I sign. I was forced to ask for someone else who is able to communicate with me. Once we got another employee, I understood everything, and I finally got my veil steamed. Iâm so pleased with the dress, and the customer service prior, however I left agitated after this visit. Thankfully everything turned out perfect...
