I’ve come to lucky cat boba many times. Everyone that works there has always been very nice. That being said, it seems to be a bunch of young people working and their often talking very loudly, gossiping and overall being disruptive to the environment since they are talking so loudly, but that’s not too bothersome most of the time. Onto the drinks, I’ve gotten around 7 different drinks here. Every single one of them have been underwhelming. I will say that the toasted brûlée topping is delicious. The actual teas themselves are not good. Every milk tea that I’ve tried, just tastes like milk. None of the flavor that it is supposed to be. The Matcha is very bitter. Now for the boba. I’ve gotten many different kinds of the boba here. The popping boba isn’t bad but the flavors don’t actually taste like the flavors that they’re labeled as. They don’t have any specific flavor just popping with sweetness. Now for my experience today, the reason why I finally wrote this review after many chances. I ordered a lavender milk tea, with lychee jelly, and a toasted brûlée topping. I paid $8.65 for this one drink. The toasted brûlée was the only good part of this drink. I started by eating the topping first. Then I tried the tea. The tea tasted like milk and only. No park of it tasted like lavender. The lychee jelly was awful. It tasted like what I imaging a funky sock would taste like. It was absolutely awful. I kindly asked if there was any way I could get a different drink instead because I did not like this one. The cashier was very nice but told me I could buy another drink. Overall, this place is way too overpriced, poor quality and flavor, and don’t seem to take into account customer satisfaction. I’d recommend going to La Boba...
Read moreWe went on a Friday evening at 6PM. Drinks were good! Lots of different options. They also have a sugar level for each drink. A feature you don't see at other Boba places here in Springfield. We didn't get any food but, just another reason to come back!
We ordered Thai tea, black tapioca balls and a banana milk tea, black tapioca balls. The drinks came in these fancy plastic cups. The flavor was delicious and the tapioca was warm 😋
There were other things you can buy at this place. They had other off the shelf snacks like pocky, highlighters, cute stuff(stickers, journals, posted notes, key chains) some anime stuff like wall scrolls and figurines. They even had a TV playing anime.(MHA when we were there)
The service was amazing. The person taking our order was kind and answered all our questions.
The only negative thing I can say is that the location is very small. Don't let that stop you from visiting. The size of the place doesn't matter when the drinks and staff are amazing! Now, go grab some tasty Boba and walk around the shopping center.
Will be visiting again. Excited to taste their...
Read moreI was excited to see that this place was finally opened. Going in, I immediately enjoyed the cute anime decor and merchandise. It was a little crowded but it was to be expected since they are fairly new. There was a wait but the line moved relatively fast. It was around 4:30pm and they were out of taiyaki and the Thai tea and Toasted Brulee which would've been my choice. I believe the owner took our order and he was friendly and quick. We waited about 10 min for our drinks. I ordered a Tiger milk with crystal boba and my husband ordered an iced latte. They mixed up our order by putting the boba in my husband's drink and I didn't want to wait and bother them to have it fixed because it was so busy. Overall it was okay. I will come back to try something again but maybe when the opening hype dies down in order to dodge the wait, possible errors and inventory shortages. Hopefully there's better consistency as time goes on. It's worth...
