We had the pleasure of ordering from this establishment for a Black History Month event, where we sought to honor Ethiopian culture. Their lentil sambusas were delicious—everyone at the event raved about them! When I arrived to pick up my large order, the staff could not have been more welcoming and generous. They went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional, even helping me carry my order to the car and surprising me with a roadside snack. This place is a store/cafe. Limited menu, but my small group had the chicken, beef, and veggie sampler (5, 10, 22). They were out of lamb when we went, which would have been my first choice. The staff advised our group to get a spicy dish (10). We did and while it had a little simmering heat, it wasn't overpowering at all. I went in to buy injera last week. There was in-store prepared brown injera with a note on the side “100% teff injera “. I asked the elderly woman(maybe owner) by the cash register to confirm if it’s 100% teff and she said YES without hesitation. I’ve been eating injera all my life and this injera is NOT even 50% teff. It’s a shame for that woman to LIE to sell some injera. Will never be back...
