Highly recommend seeking your suit elsewhere. We made the mistake of coming here for our wedding party to get suits and it has been nothing but issues. My groom and one groomsmen went to try on suits and were told that without my approval they could not pick suits or be measured. We had to arrange another day for us to go together to pick out the suit. Then they kept pushing for my fiancé to purchase a shirt that was obviously way too big to the point the seamstress told them to stop pushing the shirt because it obviously wasn’t going to work. Another groomsmen went to get his suit and had such a bad experience between them not being able to find our wedding party information in their system to trying to get fitted that he left! He said the guy trying to fit him for his suit acted like he would rather be anywhere else and just kept slinging the measuring tape around not even trying. So again, another trip with me to make sure things were handled. Then after we had chosen our suits and ordered 2 of the 5 they informed us that only 3 of suits were eligible for vests due to sizing on the suit we chose. We could have picked a different suit to start if we knew not everyone would match. Then comes the wonderful Labor Day sale where “everything in store is at least 25% off”. My grandpa went by himself to surprise me with a matching suit for our wedding day. He ended up paying full price, almost $700 for his suit. When my fiancé mentioned he should have gotten a discount, he called and the person he spoke to said yes, he should have gotten at least 25% off, to come back to the store with his receipt and they would take care of it. He went back to the store this weekend and met the manager who said yes, there should have been 25% taken off that weekend on all purchases. After looking at his ticket she tells him no refund is needed because everything was rang in full price like it should be. But everything is suppose to be 25% off? When he started questioning why he wasn’t getting the 25% off she told him it was from “poorly trained employees” and that’s how it was rang in. My grandpa said he just wanted a refund for the discount going on during the weekend he purchased his suit. She told him no and that she was calling the cops for trespassing. After he told her to go ahead she finally started attempting to get his information for $160 refund. Then they couldn’t refund him in cash like he paid, it would have to a check mailed by corporate. All that for under $200 we were rightful owed due to the sale going on. My grandpas suit was suppose to be a surprise to me. So much for that! From the groom, 4 groomsmen and 1 family member, everyone had a complaint. From the lack of care and enthusiasm to the downright rudeness of staff, I am glad we are done with suit shopping and had...
Read moreI booked tuxes for my wedding party several months ago. I went one day with just my fiancé and picked everything out and he was measured. I asked while there if I needed to make an appointment for my wedding party to be measured or if we could just walk in. I was told they did not take appointments and to just walk in. The following day I returned with my wedding party and was told appointments take priority and we had an hour wait. We waited and spent a total of 6 hours there getting everyone measured. I thought the hard part was over. Little did I know it had just started. Fast forward to a week before my wedding. I go to pick up tuxes with four of seven groomsmen. Nothing is right. Pocket square are the wrong colors, my brothers suit jacket was supposed to be black, and it is white. My father-in-laws pants are way to big. The crotch of his pants are almost to his knees. The same with my fiancé's. My fiancé's shoes are the wrong size. We are told to come back in an hour and everything will be fixed. Wrong. Then pants were still baggy. Now when my fiancé walks, his pants come 2.5 inches above his shoes. My father-in-laws sleeves are 3 inches too short. At this point, we overhear an employee state that the man helping us needs to go help a different customer who was interested in buying pants because "sales are more important than rentals". We leave the store and come home. At this point I receive a call from my grandfather who is at the Men's Warehouse in Colombia. His tux had been ordered and sized in Columbia and was supposed to be picked up at the same location, but they sent it to Springfield. I then called Men's Warehouse in Springfield and they told me they did not have his tux. Needless to say I canceled our $1000 order. I received a full refund. On the phone, the manager was nice. She offered discounts and to do anything to keep me as a customer. I still canceled. In store she was awful. Completely rude. We spent 15+ hours in this store. A week before my wedding, this was the last thing I needed. I will...
Read moreWow, just wow. Worst customer service I believe I’ve ever received in a clothing store. Sport coat shopping with spouse. Upon entering the store noted one gentleman at the front counter checking out a customer with 2 in line to check out. Obviously, he was not able to wait on us at that time. We walked around the store for a bit. I noted a young lady seated at a desk toward the rear. She made brief eye contact with me and went back to whatever she was doing without speaking. Continued to browse in different parts of the store for several more minutes. A third individual appears from the back of the store and starts speaking to the young women seated at the desk. This guy also makes eye contact with me, then turns back to the young lady and continues to converse and then disappears into the back of the store. Three employees in the store now, no one has yet to acknowledge us. I approached the seated young woman and asked if there was someone who could help us. Her response, “what do you need help with?”. How about men’s clothing, lady?! Good Lord! I asked about their sport coat sale and she finally arose from her chair, pointed out the sport coats, measured my husband, told him his size and left for the back of the store and her desk, never to return or acknowledge us further. The guy at the front counter has now disappeared, as has the third guy in the back. We shopped for 15-20 minutes on our own, found one sport coat, walked up to the counter where the original guy checks us out, without making eye contact, and with the only words coming out of his mouth as follows, “what is your phone number?”. We left, drove across the street to Dillards, met a nice guy in the men’s department who approached us, asked how he could help us, and proceeded to sell us another sport coat and two pair of slacks. I could not be paid to walk into MWH in...
