We have had the hardest time getting ahold of any person here, in terms of phone calls. We have called them many times, and they don't seem to answer their phone much. We called again, and they did actually answer, and they said they could get us in same day and I could also get my device same day too. So - we decided to take a chance and go with them. Dropping the device off was definitely time consuming, and took probably 15 to 20 minutes just the dropping it off. We didn't receive a phone call to let us know it was finished, so since we needed the device same day, we dropped by the store, and attempted to check on the status, because they were due to close within about 20 minutes and we had to arrive in time to get the device. We had to wait for the device to be finished and we waited in store until a few minutes before they closed. (Which was probably 20 minutes or so...) However, we are for sure thankful that they did keep their word and finish it for us the same day. Their communication could definitely stand to be improved, but for us, they did really good with the repair (so far) as we are pleased with the repair that was done on the screen. With that, we recommend them, as long as you know that the communication from them may not be the strongest, and you may struggle reaching them or hearing back from them. If you can get ahold of them, and/or get your foot in the door, then most likely, they will do a good job for you with your device, as our experience shows for.

After visiting my local AT&T store to start a claim on my wife’s chipped screen and told me to take the device to U break I fix in the Brentwood center. Red flags immediately rose due to a previous new story I heard about this place. Google it for yourself ubreak I fix KY3 story. Regardless of the red flags I drove to their location and was met by an employee inside who told me he was the only one working and they were way behind. We intentionally set the repair date a week out to help them catch up and get more employees. Fast forward to the appointment my wife shows up at 10:00 AM their opening time and the doors are still locked after knocking on the door for a few minutes and employee came to unlock the door. And told her that they could not honor her appointment and that the entire place was under quarantine and we would have to drive to Joplin to get the phone repaired. I tried calling their number numerous times never getting through to anyone. No one ever called to tell us they couldn’t take our appointment. This place is mismanaged and miss-ran at best! Heed my warning and never use this place!!!! I will never do Business with this place. My next call is to The insurance company that uses them, then to KY3 for an another investigation and to the attorney generals office of Missouri.

After trying to call the store 10 to 15 times during the week and getting no answer at all. I made an online appointment because I had an open support case with Google for my phone that is under warranty. I get there for my appointment and I was turned away and they would not even look at the case number. There was specific notes in the case about my problem and that the case was turned in before the screen crack and the screen crack was noted in the support case # they wouldn't look at. Extremely upsetting. Just seems like they didn't want to help. Told me just to claim the insurance and get a new phone

My experience with this repair shop has been incredibly frustrating, and after nearly a month since dropping off my iPad for a simple battery replacement, I still have no idea when I'll get it back. What started as a straightforward repair has spiraled into a series of miscommunications, further damage, and unfulfilled promises.

The Timeline of Frustration:

Initial Drop-off (Approx. 1 Month Ago): I brought in my iPad for a battery replacement. I was warned the glass might break due to slight flexing, which I understood.

Day 2 - Screen Breakage: I received a call confirming the screen broke during removal, and I authorized its replacement.

First Pickup Attempt (A Few Days Later): I was texted that the iPad was ready. Upon inspection, the new screen was already lifting. The manager offered to fix it in 15 minutes.

Second Pickup Attempt (Moments Later): The screen was still lifting, and worse, there was an error message indicating Touch ID wasn't working. When I questioned this, the manager admitted that the Touch ID button was "severed" during their repair, and they couldn't fix it as they aren't an Apple store. This critical damage was never disclosed to me upfront.

Escalation & Further Damage (A Few Days Later): After calling for an update, I was informed they had damaged the circuit board while trying to replace the button, and they couldn't perform this repair in-house. I was told they needed to consult the manager.

More Delays & External Repair (Several Days Later): Another call from me revealed they had finally approved sending it to a third-party vendor for circuit board repair, hoping for its return in about a week.

More Miscommunication (A Week Later): When I called again, I was told the iPad was never sent off. I had to show up in person on Father's Day to get an update. The manager then mentioned that if the vendor couldn't fix it, they would provide a "suitable replacement."

Finally Sent Off (After Father's Day): A couple more days passed, and my call confirmed it was finally sent to the vendor. This means the iPad sat for over a week with no progress on a problem they caused.

Current Status (Today, Friday, June 27th): After another call to the manager on Tuesday (June 24th), he confirmed the vendor has the iPad and is repairing it, promising a follow-up. It's now Friday, and I still have no estimated timeline for return. The manager is off today.

My Disappointment:

I chose this shop, despite the higher cost compared to a DIY battery replacement, hoping for professional, stress-free service. I was completely wrong. The complete lack of proactive communication (I've had to call for every single update), coupled with the technical mishaps that led to more damage, is unacceptable. This suggests they are either severely understaffed, overworked, or simply lack fundamental customer service and technical skills.

While I understand there's no Apple store in Springfield, I would now strongly consider shipping my device to Kansas City or St. Louis for repairs, as the likelihood of getting a fully functional iPad back in less than a month would be significantly higher.

My Hope for Resolution:

Given the extensive inconvenience and damage caused, I sincerely hope they will make this 100% right. The store manager did offer a $30 discount, which offered a glimmer of hope, but what I truly need is a fully functional device. I'm not asking for the newest model, but a refurbished device of the same model with a new battery and working Touch ID would be a fair resolution.

I typically dislike writing negative reviews, as I know they impact businesses. However, I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call for the company and provides awareness for other potential customers.

I will update this review once I finally...

Short Story: I tried to be patient with them, but they had my PS4 for roughly two weeks for a fix they said didn't end up needing the part they special ordered, then charged me more than they originally quoted, and my PS4 is still in bad shape.

Long Story: I brought my PS4 in for repair on Monday, November 21, 2022, at my scheduled appointment time. I had heard a pop sound, followed by my PS4 powering itself off due to overheating. I was able to power the PS4 back on, but the fan was no longer audible at all; so, I shut it down properly.

They said they would have it diagnosed within 24-48 hours. Given that it was Thanksgiving week, I waited until Friday evening to call and see if they had gotten to look at my PS4. They said the pop sound was the fan breaking, so they would need to replace it. This required them to order in a part they didn't keep on hand, meaning that I would have to wait until the part came in. They quoted my fix at $74.99. I asked if I was able to use my voucher for $10.00 off my first repair and was told yes, it would bring the cost down to $64.99. I told them to go ahead.

I waited until Monday to call for an update, and they still did not have the part in. I was told that they had problems with parts taking forever to get shipped to them despite expedited shipping. I was sympathetic and tried to be patient since shipping times aren't under their control.

I heard nothing after that until Tuesday, December 6, 2022. I tried to call to get an update but was met with a dial tone. Apparently, their phones were down. My partner went up to the shop since I was stuck at work, and they told my partner that whoever had been working on my PS4 had not been in since the previous Thursday. We almost took the PS4 to be repaired elsewhere, and they mentioned a $30.00 fee for holding my PS4, but offered to waive it if we took it. I convinced my partner to leave it with them, and they said it would be fixed by 11:00 AM the following morning, Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

I received a call that my PS4 was ready for pick up at 10:38 AM the next day. I was told that my PS4 was extremely dirty and the fan had simply been unable to move in the dirt (I admit to not taking the best care of my PS4 in terms of keeping it dust free), plus my thermal paste was dried up. They did a deep clean and replaced the paste. I was quoted $70.90. I asked if I could still get my $10.00 discount and was informed that this was with the discount. I accepted it and paid since they fixed it, and I felt it served me right for letting the PS4 get so dusty.

My PS4 ran perfectly with the fan staying only slightly audible during the last few times that I've been able to sit and game, not even having the jet engine noise when booting up games that would previously cause the fan to overwork. That is, until Friday night, December 16, 2022. The fan is now out of the blue, clearly audible, and making an...

My wife's phone kept going in and out of service. First thing we did was take it to AT&T so they could swap the SIM card. That didn't work. AT&T suggested we call Samsung and file a warranty claim. Samsung said we needed to take it here and they will fix it. We took it there nearly 3 weeks ago to get it looked at. They said it was the antenna that wasn't working. They didn't have any in stock so they said they would order them and should be in within 2-3 days.

My wife and I went out of town for a week and had plans on getting the phone fixed when we got back. When we called to schedule our phone, thinking they had the part in, they told us that it wasn't even ordered for some reason and they would try to order it. 3 days later we called to check the status and they said for some reason the order never went through so they needed to order it again. Finally about a week and a half later I called AGAIN to see if it was in yet. I told him my name over the phone and began to tell him why I was calling when he rudely interrupted me and said "I know who you are. Yes, your antenna is here."

We brought the phone in the next day and they said it would be a 2-3 hour fix and would call us when it was done. 6 hours later I called to see if it was ready and they said they just forgot to tell us it was done. We come in to pick the phone up, and the man who was checking us out at the register told us "It's probably not even going to work." So I obviously began to ask questions and he kept interrupting me and kept blowing my questions off as if they didn't mean anything. When I tried to ask him "If it doesn't work, do I need to bring it back or call Samsung?" he again interrupted me again and made it very clear that we do not need to come back into the store. After we got our receipt, it stated that the only reason why they even did the repair was because we were insistent on getting it done. This is false. Samsung advised that they would not be able to replace the phone until this place attempted. Honestly, I was just insistent on wanting a phone that worked. I didn't care who fixed it.

I'm not the type to leave negative reviews but the customer service here was terrible. The guy with the pink hair was nice when we brought the phone in but other than that I was very disappointed with how we were treated and their excuses for something that should have been a 2-3 day process that was nearly a month. They made it perfectly clear that they were annoyed and we are not welcomed back. The entire time where I should have called them out on being completely unprofessional, I refrained so they wouldn't do something to my phone. We will not be going back, nor will we recommend this business to...
