Not the experience I hoped for :/
I came in with a large box of clean, gently used (and some brand new) baby items hoping to support a local shop instead of just donating everything. Before I even got to the counter, an employee stopped me mid-walk-in, asked “What’s in the box?” with zero greeting, and started rummaging through it without any real look. As I tried to explain what I brought, he cut me off and said, “We’re probably not going to take a lot of this stuff,” before even seeing it all.
I had checked their website and Instagram beforehand to make sure I was bringing acceptable items, and all it says is that they “buy and sell gently used kids’ clothes, shoes, toys, and baby gear.” That’s exactly what I brought. I completely understand being selective, but at least look through what someone took the time to pack and bring in. I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Read moreSo glad this store opened up in our community! Each time I’ve gone I’ve brought clothes my son grew out of to sell and was able to purchase great like-new pieces for $2-$4 a piece. Very happy with the items and customer service of the team, the owners are great too! It was a bit difficult to understand the timeline from being open to purchase clothes to open for shopping but I understand that they themselves weren’t sure - they had certain requirements to meet as a franchise prior to being able to open and that was not in their control. All in all love, this store and will be back...
