I was referred to The Stuckey Firm by someone I know after I was injured in a car accident. My car was totaled, I needed surgery, and I now have a metal plate permanently in my body. To make matters worse, my own insurance claimed the at-fault vehicle’s owner didn’t have active coverage, so it initially looked like I wasn’t going to get any kind of recompense for anything before I contacted Christian at The Stuckey Firm.

Christian ended up validating that the at-fault party did in fact have an active insurance policy and negotiated a settlement at full policy limits, even though the other insurer initially offered significantly less and tried to downplay the long-term impact the accident had on my life when they finally did take responsibility. The process took about four months after I completed physical therapy and reached as close to “back to normal” as I was going to get following my accident. From accident to settlement was about a year.

Christian correctly estimated how long it would take from injury to settlement and managed my expectations so I knew what kind of timeline to expect. When he provided the initial settlement offer from the other side, he evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the offer with me, and his advice to pursue policy limits in my particular case given my injuries paid off. He was able to offer guidance on what sorts of materials would be useful for negotiating with the insurance company and made me a part of the process without it being overwhelming.

One thing I’d recommend to anyone in a similar situation: start documenting everything early. I had taken photos, kept track of medical appointments, and made notes about how the injury affected my daily life, all of which helped support the case. The firm also has an app that shows what stage of the legal process you're in, which helped me stay informed. Any time I had a question, Christian responded and made sure I understood what was going on.

I’m relieved the process is over and thankful for Christian and The Stuckey Firm’s assistance. There were many legal aspects I didn’t understand and wouldn’t have been able to navigate myself between the auto and health insurance companies. This review is slightly delayed but very well deserved. I was recommended to contact "The Stuckey Firm" in late January 2021 after a pretty bad accident due to a suspended license, no insurance, and an unilluminated trailer driver that caused some fairly severe injuries that have a high possibility of becoming more severe in the future. However, after reaching out and meeting with Michael Vervoort in February and giving him an explanation of what took place, he and his paralegal Amy immediately got to work on the case. This all sounds easy and straight to the point, but my insurance adjuster had something else in mind by putting me at fault for an accident that was determined by deputies, I clearly wasn't. Fast forward to a year later (2022), when medical bills have racked up to a lot of people's yearly earnings and the insurance adjuster still refuses to change the at-fault status, causing me additional money in premiums everywhere, etc. In late 2022, the adjuster was no longer on the case. Thankfully, as the new adjuster took over, she immediately changed to not at fault, and Michael and Amy could now stop arguing daily with them and focus more on getting medical bills reduced. In the matter of just a few months, Michael and Amy were able to do just that, taking high 5-figure medical bills down to low 4-figure bills and managing to get a fairly large sum of money back in my pocket. I just closed out a car accidence case with Stuckey firm. Here is my experience while working with them:

1. The receptionist always directly answered the phone from the first ring; had a warm, pleasant tone; and was meticulous in conveying any message to my attorney or directing where I needed to find any information.

2. Attorney Michael Vervoort had great attention to detail and foresight and would be clear on what to expect in the coming weeks. He made me aware of every choice I could take with the given risks and rewards based out of each choice without speaking above my intellect nor did he water down the understanding. He worked in a very timely manner and came through with every intention that he informed me. He also led me to a chiropractic office that also was just as informative and helpful as he was.

3. The office is very clean and organized. The waiting area is warm and welcoming to anyone who comes in. Everyone who worked there when I came in greeted me with a genuine friendly smile and welcomed me and my son.
