Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Springfield

Let me start by saying we love "d" this place. I have been coming here since we discovered they carried gluten free cakes, they are awesome.

I have purchased many cakes from here because my wife can't have gluten, and these cakes are unrivaled. I drive over an hour to come here. That being said, my wife enjoys a little extra icing, so do I.

Every time I have asked for extra, and offered to pay, the team has always figured out a way to make this happen. That is until this Friday, where I had a horrible run in with an employee wielding terrible customer service. She refused to let me purchase a little extra icing. I bought 4 cakes by the way, 2 of which had less icing than normal.

She turned me away, a customer who was willing to pay extra for something they have readily available. She said there wasn't a way to do it. So I explained how it was done all the times before, and she shook her head at me like I was asking for taco sauce.

Maybe she was having a bad day, or maybe she was upset because I attempted to help her understand how it was done before.

As I was leaving, disgruntled, holding a 20 in my hand, she said "sorry," only it wasn't a sorry, it was a "Bu-Bye."

I said "No, you aren't, if you were you'd help me out."

I've spent over 500 dollars here. I doubt I'll be spending any more unless the customer service figures out how to put the customer first.

I’m so happy this location is open 7 days a week! Where I live it’s always closed on Sunday! I’m never disappointed with the consistency and quality of any Nothing Bundt Cake location - always moist, flavorful and the best!

I was very disappointed that I placed an online order many hours in advance (even many hours after they opened), and should have had plenty of time before my event - I still had to wait for over thirty minutes for my order which made me have to rush to make my party plans which is why the 4-star on service. That was disappointing as they had plenty of time to do the order before I arrived. I watched 8 different clients come and go while I waited for my online order...

Good cake, great icing...NO Forks

The small bunts run about $4 each which is more than fair for what you get. The icing is the real star of these cakes, but the cake is pretty good. Unfortunately, our experience there was spoiled by the lack of forks. I didn’t realize that there is no place to eat inside the store and I had told my daughter we’d eat them there, so we planned to sit outside but this store does not provide forks.... like ever... like it’s not a thing there. Forks cost one cent and it would have made our experience so much better. Just be aware that there is no place to eat in the store and utensils will not...
