Silver Lake Village Shopping Center — Local services in St. Anthony

This used to be a cute, awesome and busy place to go. They had music that would play through hidden speakers throughout the area, was always busy and a good variety of shops. After Wal-Mart left being strong armed by cub everything went downhill. One by one shops have been closing. Like 5 places to eat are gone and at least 5 or 6 other types of shops have disappeared. Most of the places including that huge building Wal-Mart was in, remain empty. Even a year or 3 later. It's depressing their now, has no foot traffic like it used to and I don't see the area surviving much longer in its current state. So sad, was 1 of the main reasons we moved to st. Anthony like 8 or 9 years ago. Like others we are looking...

I have passed by many times , but couldn't stop in . today I was able to cure my "Curiosity" . The aroma as I walked towards the "Hickory Hog" made me even hungrier than I already was. I ordered the 6 St. Louis style Ribs w/ fries. The Ribs were thick and tender. Definitely and " Properly" smoked😃 very rich w/o being overbearing . I ordered naked Ribs so I could try all 4 of their sauces . " Habanero Sweet","Zesty Mango","Ray's bbq sauce . The 4th I forgot , BUT the Habanero and Mango sauces were the co-stars of my meal . The Habanero had a flavorful heat, 😃😁😃😁😃😁😃not just hot😠. The Mango sauce was a winner 🏆 it truly brought my meal to life . CAN'T WAIT TO TRY MORE !!! ...

I dont know what to say shops and other things here. I didnt really have much to say about this strip mall except it looks nice if ur into shopping iwent to fat nats eggs and had a burger lo l there u have it in a nut shell ( its like hut, a shell is but its more outdoorsy..iam the manthatmotos` reporting to you googlemaps as reviewer and local guide to give jan&jim q public, a fair shot at getting to where the good are and getting there without getting lost and better.
