Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in St. Anthony

I go to Caribou often as much as twice a day the least, yes I enjoy my Coffee and so do my daughter which I also buy for when I go so I’m spending money with a company I’d expect to get customer service for . I’ve been treated on a number of occasions as if I should find somewhere to go and honestly it’s certain employees . To say that I’ve been going for the last two years not this location but I know how my drink should taste, clearly pay for extra shots so the drinks be tasting really funny nasty 🤢 to say how much different could it taste if you were trained correctly? To a point I’d take it to my old location and they would REMAKE IT for me on a number of occasions with apologizes for this location. Like what made me write this review and going forward each experience with get a review!! I spend too much money to get treated with anything less than respect ✊ didn’t get my points AGAIN and those points add up its clearly why they came up with the perks for regular customers right ? They ask my number and say my name but points don’t come on my app ?? Why is that ??? But I’m the crazy black lady when I call or stop in store and ask what’s the problem? I mean it’s not a problem when you take my $$ .. it’s coffee ☕️ I’d like my points for each visit!! So I will be calling Coorpate and explaining my past visits because the next person should know how they treat myself . Hate to pull the race card no no I don’t not when it obviously 🙄 an issue with some and not to mention the location is in a more upscale area then the hood where the other location make up for their rudeness. Expect to get a review for every disrespectful visit down to my drink tasting like syrup then the extra shots I’m sure it was intentional even with not getting my perks today!!! Sad...

Honestly, I used to really like this little Caribou. These days, every time I go, I find myself wondering why I don't drive further to try someplace else. In fact, I'm committed to it now. While the drinks are usually prompt and made well, the staff is very workmanlike and seem totally taken aback by friendliness. I keep my distance, wear my mask and pay by card, but I can almost feel how annoyed most of the staff is they actually have to interact with somebody. Like I have ruined their day because I didn't order ahead (can't with my order). It's no fun going someplace...

While being a smaller location, this Caribou really has some of the best staff I've encountered. They're so friendly and obviously have a lot of regulars that come in. The staff really seems to care about the people they get to know, and treat non-regulars with kindness and respect.
