Last year my son was a senior in high school he wanted to sign up for just 6 months since he knew he was going out of state for college. Unfortunately for him the person who signed him up didn't tell him about the fine print in the contract that you are bound for a year at $44 a month. Furthermore, if you ask for an extension while away in college that gets tagged on later. In a nutshell they have and are making almost $1000 from a poor college student. Let me make it very clear this contract was discussed with a high school with extremely limited knowledge of hidden fine print language in contacts. We tried calling to see whether it was possible to change or break the contract. Sadly, after numerous phones call we finally got a hold of a supervisor who was very rude and useless. The unfortunate lack of customer service continues since we are still waiting for a response to break the contract before they automatically renew it again. Take heed anyone going away to college or simply leaving the state do not sign up with this fitness center. You will regret your actions. I would not recommend this gym to the human race they deserve more humane treatment than this place...
Read moreThis Anytime fitness is one of the better clubs that I have been a member at. One step in the door and you will see that you can totally see yourself get fit in this club. The club offers many training clubs and challenges. They also have senior classes and cycling classes. This last August (2016) the club offered a challenge called "Olympics Challenge" I really enjoyed that challenge and, I went there daily to participate. A new challenge is up now. Stop in to see it. The club is clean and the team members are courteous and helpful. The new TRX is fantastic. The TV'S on the treadmill made time on it fun for me (imagine that). I was running watching me run though a section in the Grand Canyon. So cool. Next time i might go somewhere else in the world. I gave this club 5 stars because, I believe it is a 5 star club. Thank you for reading my...
Read moreMade a one year contract, during Covid. Got sick many times and stopped showing up to the gym. After few years later, I’m being contacted by debt collectors to pay 500+ dollars for all the time I didn’t come to the gym. The gym told me today that they notified me but I was never able to receive the voicemails. Now they are telling me the only option to cancel the debt is it get a new account and have to make payments from a previous time that I wasn’t able to show up due to being sick all the time. I honestly thought that it was 13 dollars a month but they charged me that for a week for all the times I wasn’t able to show up. Now my credit is going to be affected and honestly feel like this whole experience at this place was just a giant scam during Covid times for people who were going to get sick and...
