I was referred to call St. Anthony after my primary Walgreens were unable to fill my script. This started Thursday when I called my primary store. I spoke with the pharmacist Jennifer and was told my insurance issue was resolved and they needed to order in my medication. It would be delivered on Friday and filled. I waited Friday and did not receive notification it was complete. Saturday I called and spoke with the pharmacist and he indicated that the computer never made the order. They hadn't received any in and it still needs to be ordered. It would not come in time. I have been working through a problem with this prescription for 2 weeks. I have been out and have worked with my insurance company, my primary doctor and Walgreens. Walgreens has been the only entity over the past three weeks to drop the ball and failed to notify me of issues. The phaacist today told me to call around for other pharmacies to see if they had my medication. I asked if they could assist within the other Walgreens stores. They couldnt guarantee the medication would be in, however was referred to call St. Anthony. I called and heard the prompt that 4 phone calls were ahead of mine. This slowly went down, after an hour and 26 minutes it was clear no one was answering. I called the main line of the store and asked to speak with a manager for assistance. There is no manager working on the weekends, and a shift lead by the name of Brianna (sp?) Came to the line. I asked if she could help me. Her offer was to page the pharmacy. They likely will not respond, but at least they will hear the page. She indicated that she gets push back from the pharmacy when people call. I explained I had waited for nearly an hour an a half on the phone, I just needed to see if they have my medication do I can have it filled today. I then asked if it was possible for her to place me on hold and walk to the pharmacy to ask if the phaacist could assist. I remained on hold until my call rang back. Breanna shared that the pharmacist would not take my call. If I wanted to leave a number the pharmacist would call me "when she had availability". I shared with Breanna that after an hour an a half it was highly unlikely I would hear back. I explained that O knew it was not her fault, but this lack of customer service was really abhorrent. I understand that there are qorl force shortages amd they may be understaffed. I hope these calls are monitored for Custer service review. Walgreens it takes quite a bit to upset me but this was really wrong.

They will leave you on hold forever and THEN let the phone ring so long that the system says there’s a connection issue and hangs up on you. Avoid at all costs. Leaves ill patients with complicated prescriptions (amid med shortages that may need substitutions!) no option but to drive there and stand in line. This is criminal. I’ve never in my life asked to speak to a manager but this might be the place where I have to start. Ughhhhh. Please god hire someone to answer the phones!!!!! I’m literally begging you. I’m out of meds and it’s a long weekend and you already have my prescription and I can’t have it sent elsewhere now so I’ll be completely nonfunctioning for the next three days. :’( *UPDATE*: although it was extremely confusing and time consuming to get my meds, and I had to drive to the location two separate times, it is clear the staff are doing their best. The pharmacist is a saint. Saw her prioritize and immediately address multiple urgent requests (lady came in near closing w two pills left, another lady needed meds for her dad w dementia and lives 40 mins away, both had to wait a bit but were helped immediately). She somehow got me my meds for $15 even though the generic was showing out of stock and the brand was going to be $300. I don’t know how she did it but I wasn’t going to ask questions, I am so grateful I could cry. They need to hire 7 more people to help those folks. And that pharmacist could run the government.

This morning I went in to pick up my Rx at Walgreens St Anthony about 11:10 am after stopping in the previous day to get it & it wasn't ready. Sadly this is the norm now days instead of the exception. As I stood in line waiting for my turn I noticed several store items sitting on the dirty floor in front of a shelf to the right of the pharmacy counter checkout. A few of them were packages of eye cream. I took a picture of them & finally got my prescription. While walking past the front door cash registers I saw one cashier on the left side of the aisle taking care of a customer & one worker was sitting on the counter next to the register on the right side. Now maybe he was taking a break, but why do it there? Why aren't they cross training people to help take care of things when they have time on their hands. It's really sad & disgusting to see products that we purchase every day may have been sitting on a dirty floor. Maybe they were expired, but then why weren't they put into a proper disposal container? Attached are photos of the products. This used to be a decent drug store several years ago. What happened?

Horrible service. I stopped going there awhile ago and started getting my scripts filled at my doctor's office. Today my Dentist wrote me 2 scripts. Took them here since it is close to my home. Have filled many scripts here over the years. Weird thing is today the Pharmacy Tech insisted I tell her the exact date of my last fill at this location in order for her to start on my scripts. Does anyone know the date they last did something? She finally entered my scripts, told me 45 minutes for a wait time. Once they were ready, the Tech then asked me to confirm my address. I did and she says it is not the address they have on file. So I give her my old address and she says it is not in their system. I hand her my Driver's License and a Credit Card (2 forms of ID) and she starts telling me that the address on my Driver's License is not the one I gave her. (it was the 2nd address I gave her). I explained that it is the address I provided the 2nd time and she starts lecturing me on how to talk to her. I explained I did not need a speech lesson, however I do need my meds that my Dentist prescribed. She said she couldn't give them to me since I told her the wrong address. I asked for my paperwork back so I could find another Pharmacy to fill my scripts. She said she couldn't give me the meds or the paperwork back. I asked for a Manager. Now, all of a sudden she is willing to give me my meds. Too late, Manager please! Manager informs me that this is not their policy and that my picture ID was more than enough to hand me my meds. I told her I would go elsewhere and not return. She very nicely offered to comp me the 2 scripts. That was thoughtful of her. However, I did not accept the free meds as I would have then felt obligated to go back to this location in the future. Instead, I took my paperwork to a different Pharmacy, waited 20 minutes and was on my way. No trick questions, no interrogation, no game-playing. I simply confirmed my date of birth and paid for my meds. It seems alot easier for everyone to confirm birthdays instead of playing games with addresses that can change. It's too bad these employees are so rude. I've always liked being able to shop there for greeting cards. I will simply have to go to the mall for greeting cards now and literally anywhere else...

This review is in regards to the Pharmacy department, and not any of the staff working operations.

There is a pharmacist who works at this location, brunette and perhaps in her late thirties or early forties, who I've interacted with on a few occasions when picking up a prescription. Most recently, I had come in to pick up medication for an infection and needed antibiotics and steroids because I couldn't breathe properly. I approach the counter and the Pharmacist is helping me fill my prescription information. She is short, brusque and speaks so quickly and interrupts you before you can complete your question or sentence.

I'm not someone whose pacing of speech is slow or asks redundant, irrelevant questions, nor do I give a back story of my life when inquiring about the use of medication or something I am looking for. But my goodness, this woman didn't give you a chance to speak! She immediately tried to rush through the process, even though there was no one in line (and yes, she might have been working on other medication refills, but that doesn't excuse her for lack of courtesy).

Upon filling my prescription, I had asked her questions about the long term side effects of the medication for the steroids use, and her response was that it was "as harmful as anything else"- really? All those years in pharmacy school provided you with that explanation to confer to patients? Not only was it terribly inaccurate (I found out later upon asking a friend in pharmacy school herself), but it was dismissive and extremely poor patient education on her part. She kept rushing me the entire time and I felt like a burden more than anything. Rude and terrible service on her part.

You're a qualified and trained professional privileged with information that others' well-being are dependent on; try imparting that information compassionately, and respectfully as you are paid to; and perhaps, like a decent human being.

Be cautious of your experience with the female brunette pharmacist at this location; dismissive is an...
