FINANCIAL WARNING ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ Shopping experience was horrible!.. I've been a customer since the location opened, about 20 yrs or so and most of the time I have no trouble until the last year or more. I had 2 controllers that I took in for warranty. One was days away from the year warranty running out. They didn't have either of them in stock and refused to give me store credit or exchange them and told me to come back in a few days to replace them. I also purchased 2 Brand new controllers at the time,
Fast forward a few days later I return to the store for my warranty replacements. The same Rude AF person was there. Now my warranty has run out 5 days ago on 1 controller so he refused to honor the warranty. And still had neither in stock. I was very angry as I was sent home and now denied completely. Then I was told to leave the store or he would call the police 😡. I was calm. Never cursed. Never yelled. But I did make it known to all customers that my warranties were being denied.
I left the store and called customer service myself and explained everything. They instructed me to go back into the store while on the phone with them so they could instruct the employee to honor the warranty because I had been in before it expired and was sent away. At first the employee tried to claim he wasn't trained. Then When customer service instructed him on how to do it he claimed the system wouldn't allow him to do anything about it. Customer service became irritated and requested the store location number and he refused to answer. So I found it and said it. Then customer service asked for his name and he refused. I had to give a description. The employee then threatened me with the police once more. The customer service representative heard the way I was spoke to and apologized repeatedly and issued a complaint against the store and it's management. I am a disabled man with a cane.
I went to another location and had no trouble with my warranty exchanges. They were very kind and I also learned that this location has been gaining a reputation for sending customers away claiming out of stock inventory until the warranty expires and then refusing the exchange and pushing new products 😡. Without warranties Walmart is cheaper.
Management had another store location closed due to unpaid rent problems. Whatever financial problems that are going on here are filtered down to the customers.
Your pre-orders aren't there ontime because the owners not paying his bills. It's only a matter of time until you show up to find the doors permanently locked just like Hamburg!!!

Read moreThis store is utterly unreliable! Months ago we paid in full for a game on pre-order. Fully paid off delux edition and waited for the release date. The game did an early release. They never contacted us. Instead of waiting till the release date that was originally posted. They sold it! A fully paid for game, they sold. Did one of their friends want it and missed the pre-order? Their response: They are very sorry and what could they do? It's sold out from the publisher. We had to demand our money back. Fully paid for and they classified it as a deposit. It was fully paid for not a deposit....

Keep in mind, I prepaid & should've received the game on the release date. Here it is 8 days later & still no game. I was forced to get my money back & "try ordering online". I will order online alright.....but DEFINITELY not from GameStop. What a waste of time & gas. I've never been more furious with a lack of communication & management in my life!!!...
