My husband purchased my engagement and wedding band from here on 12/31/2016. In the time of "having" my rings this place has had them more then they have been on my hand.
The ring was resized the first time (before my husband purposed)
When my husband purposed, the ring did not fit. The band was so sharp it caused a paper like cut around my entire finger, and cut my finger while attempting to pull it off.
The ring was then taken back to be fixed. When the ring was returned to me it still did not fit and was still sharp. The consultant told me it didnt fit because my hands were swollen. As i showed her it was a struggle to put the ring on and take it off, she still insisted it was because of the heat and my fingers were swollen (which they were not swollen.)
I then took the ring back again, with a picture of my finger bleeding to show that the band was still sharp and it was still not sized properly. Once again the ring was returned. The band was extremely thin, had a crack in the band, and a short time later a diamond had fallen out.
When returning again, my ring was stuck. I wanted them to cut it off. The consultant insisted on using Windex to remove it from my finger. After struggling to remove it, the ring finally came off, and once again cutting my finger. The consultant then told me since the ring was resized so many times it would be on me to pay for the resizing.
I waited some time before returning to take my ring back due to so much damage to my finger.
When returning again, the consultant told me the size it was last set for, which WAS NOT the size i was told it was going to be. (im pretty sure I know my own ring size.)
I have spoke with the sons owner (after they have had my ring for a month) who said he would contact my husband that week. (giving two specific days) which he failed to contact him.
When contact was finally made to my husband they said we would be responsible for the amount to have the ring resized once again, adding gold and replacing the diamond.
And to add to all of this EVERY consultant i have dealt with were EXTREMELY rude!
Can someone please give me a suggestion...
Read moreI took my husband's first wedding band in, which was cut off his finger in 2009 because he broke his hand, and the 2nd one I got him that was busted. I wanted to get the first one reconstructed that was very worn because he does auto body work, along with the second ring to strengthen it. It originally had 3 diamond chips and 2 were missing. The design was completely worn off. He added 2 diamond chips and made his own design. I gave it to my husband today for Christmas, he loved it. Murphy Jewelers said it would cost thousands to deter me from getting it done. They wanted to sell me a wedding band for $2,000 that I didn't like. These rings were sentimental and Charlie Sophy understood that. It only took a couple days and only charged me $100. Sophy Jewelers will get all our jewelry business...

I need the band resized, and we found out that Sophys already resized the band from a 6 to a 5.5 without our knowledge. Sophys told us that Verragio is now refusing to resize the band because of the great detail of the band. On Monday, one of those owners called me and said she would get back to us and never did. She was ignorant on the phone and did not seem to care that we now have a band that doesn't fit because of their store. We have called/texted all three owners private numbers and none have returned our messages. Now we are stuck with a $2700 band that does not fit and...
