St Clair Lanes — Local services in St. Clairsville

I've spent a lot of money at this place the last 3 or so months. Employees have been nothing but nice. The big issue we had was the owner I think it was. Basically getting in our face and yelling at us. Saying that's the third time you hit the rake, if you do it one more time I'm turning your game off and you're out of here! Mind you, it was a screaming voice and he was in our face making a scene in front of everyone. The fact that 30mins ago, they had a drunk group at the lane beside us hitting the rake like 7 times and left trash behind and he did not once yell at them. I understand he got upset. Try walking up to us and explaining it in a calm manner. That would have been the best approach. You don't treat paying customers...

Would've been alright if the service was nicer. First time coming here and completely ignored at the concessions. Twice. After she had looked at me the third time I walked away. Then had a friend I was with go up and try after they already served her a soda. The lady told her she wasn't going to use my card because it's too much of a hassle and I didn't have any cash on me and told her to just take it. The can was $1.00 ... Every other staff member was wonderful, she was not. With all of us together we have spent over $100 to bowl and have a good time. The attitude wasnt necessary and embarrassed my coworker....

It's a small 20 lane house. Still uses the older Brunswick style automatic scoring. Lanes themselves was pretty decent. You can tell though there's a lot of wear and tear on them but still manageable. The 2 guys I meet there at the front desk was really nice and helped me out with the different leagues. I hadn't bowled in a while so I decided to join a summer league to get my feet wet again. The lighting for the approachs are good but the lighting for the first set of dots on the lanes are horrible and need better lighting.
