Amazing food, used to be my go to for good takeout for me, friends, my work and family. Normally get fairly nice workers taking care of us. I went to place an order to pick up and got so much sarcastic remarks and rudeness from the kid who answered. I began to start my order with “a small order of general tso’s”. To where he replied “okay general tsos what. Be more specific if you want me to take your order” it got worse from there until I called him out for the rudeness, I asked for his name which we refused and I asked for a manager who also said I shouldn’t worry about it and stop” so I went to the store to confront this with a manager, I have been in customer service forever from Disney world to running and managing an entire branch. It’s disgusting and you loose business this way. I don’t even like to complain we all have bad days however it was all unacceptable. The manager did nothing and didn’t even try to apologize WHILE THE KID WAS GETTING SMART WITH ME AGAIN FOR ME COMING TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER”. I said “you hire people that treat customers this way? And he laughed. Trust me. I don’t care how good you’re food is. I will not spend my money nor anyone I know to places that treat people like that. Absolutely...
Read moreStandard takeout. It's not their fault that the hype here is hard to live up to, but nothing we tried was really exceptional. General Tso's sauce has a touch of heat, and the tofu version is worth trying, with a crispy coating and huge portion. Mongolian Beef has some kind of thickener in the sauce making it kind of a gravy consistency. Cheese wontons seem baked (?): no oil at all, and the outside is bland and tough. Eggrolls had a perfect crispy fried outside and generous filling.
They charged 50 cents for a side of chili oil, then gave us this huge side cup of it that's enough to kill someone if they tried to use it all at once, lol. Minimal veg in our dishes, just a couple small broccoli florets, which is fine by me since broccoli is evil and destroys all...
Read moreWe are driving on a road trip, and decided to stop in Saint Clairesville for the night. We wanted Chinese food and decided on this place because it was so highly rated. I got the General’s Tso chicken and a small order of spare ribs.
The general Tso chicken had good flavor. However, and I kid you not when I tell you this, every single piece of the general Tso chicken was tough and stringy.
I wasn’t a fan of corn in the rice.
The spare ribs had a delightful flavor, but they too were tough. Very tough.
It’s a shame I have to give such a low rating. The staff was very friendly, and attentive. Bottom line, the staff is wonderful! The prices are good! The food? Not so much.
I just can’t recommend the food to you. I wish you well in...
