Went here for an event this evening and it was a less than stellar experience. The space is nice and the view of the city is amazing, but those were the only redeeming qualities.
We waited nearly 30 minutes at the bar to get a drink and while the girls working the bar did well to keep up as best they could, they were severely understaffed for the event. However, they weren’t super friendly. Having worked in bars (and being overwhelmed and understaffed many times), we tried to be understanding, especially since each drink was made by hand.
However, I expected the quality of my $14 + tax drink to be much better. First they were out of key ingredients to make multiple seasonal cocktails - again, a large event, so we understood. But the drink we were made tasted like straight syrup. I asked for club soda to be added to help dilute it, but even then, we both dumped over half our drinks. I would have 100% asked for a new drink to be made, but after the extended wait to even reach the bar and be acknowledged by the bartenders, it wasn’t worth it.
I guess if I was looking for a patio with a view, I’d go again, but I’d stick to anything in a can. You can find other bars in STL that can handle large event sizes AND make...
Read moreService isn’t the best, I was there to vlog for my Tik Tok vlog and have heard great things about this place. The server, a gentleman with a hat no name tag, was very short, rude, non conversational and seemed to be overly stressed. I was mot given clear directions on what to do as for seating until I asked. He was very confused as to if the kitchen was closed or not and once seated and my food came out, the churn was very cold. The artichoke dip was amazing but the chips were stale. The manger, once I notified him, was nice enough to refund me for my drink and my chicken however, the bartender/server who initially took my order gave him the wrong details as to why I needed a refund so the manager was just as confused as him initially. I just went back up there to ask about leaving a credit card and the same server acted as though he didn’t want to talk to me. Idk, maybe he’s overworked or just tired however, although I’ve heard great things about this place I’ll...
Read moreThe service here is horrible. I walked in and went straight to the bar and not one bartender looked up and said hello, offered a drink menu, gave the rundown on how ordering works or anything. (But i’m sure they want tips, right?) So we sit down at a DIRTY table wondering how to order drinks and food since we got absolutely no acknowledgment at the bar to no avail. I go back up to the bar and ask HOW do we even order or get a menu and i’m met with hostility. The “manager” comes over being snarky as well when he needs a lesson in customer service and he needs to train his staff. I know this isn’t a “full service restaurant” but you still need to say hello, give a menu and tell us how it works. HOW WOULD WE KNOW?! You are a BARTENDER. Half your job is acknowledging your customers at the bar when they walk up. If you can’t do that because you’re too “busy” cleaning a plastic glass then you need a new job. All around unprofessional and i’ll never spend a dime here with...
