Michaels — Local services in Stamford

I went there yesterday and saw a water fountain which was $48 original price. Today I saw they are having 60%off sale for the same product, but now they are saying it’s original price is $120 and after 60% off final price is $52 and that was when I came to the cash counter after a long waiting in the line. 1st they had the same original price for over six month and that just got double over a night? That’s what they are calling it a SALE. 2nd they had the price tag on the shelf with product detail yesterday but there is no price tag anymore, so it’s very clear that they are doing it with intention to cheat customers which is instead of giving customer a discount as they promised, they are actually charging...

I have never seen worse management anywhere. The manager of the framing department, I believe is name is Dan, lied to me over the phone saying my painting that was overdue would be framed the next day at the latest. The next day I went to the store to find out that my painting had not even been worked on yet. The employee working there that day told me that the manager went on vacation and that he told said employee not to bother him about anything because “he didn’t care”. Why the employee thought he should tell me that I do not know. Save yourself some time and do not bring anything to this Michaels...

Quite disorganized overall. Signage for aisles isn’t very visible. Customers couldn’t figure out if they should be queuing for each register or just a single queue. I go for embroidery supplies and it was very difficult to find the thread colors I needed, with shelves a total mixed mess. Plus they weren’t in numerical order. Rather than having left to right increasing, they put each set from right to left so you’d see something like 800-849, 750-799, 700-749 etc. I’ve been to much better Michael’s. If this were the only one I’d ever been to, I’d be less...
