King Buffet — Restaurant in Stamford

Great smaller buffet but quality food and selection. Clams, shrimp, sushi, duck, are my favorites!!!!And my husband loves the soft serve icecream cones!!!!We love it so much that we drive all the way from Bridgeport to Stamford, 40 minutes!!!!Iam reading some of these other reviews and I feel that they were evaluated unfairly and incorrectly for whatever reason. To give a business a one star is just not right to do. If they were that bad they would get shut down, and so from being a frequent customer, lately weekly I say that it is incorrect because the place does have great food and isn't any different then any of its competitors as far as occassionally messups. We frequent all the buffets in Fairfield and New Haven County and this one is on the top of our list as a favorite which is why we make the 45 minute trip to eat here. Many of the pictures that you see were posted by me so you can clearly see that the food is quality. In all of my reviews and there's many, I have only ever given a bad one like that. People need to realize that this is someone's business and lively hood and it should not be destroyed because someone has a gripe or a miserable attitude!!!!Try this place and you will agree that the food...

The food here is really good every time I order despite what people say but I have never had from the buffet. I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars but they are lacking on some things. 3 times I have placed an online order and they "never received it". Mistakes happen I understand. A company calls them every time an online order is placed, the first time the company didn't notify the restaurant ok the second time placed order online and went to pick up and my order was not made I saw them grab my order form from the fax machine and just said "oh, a few more minutes" that quickly turned into 20 minutes. The 3rd time again "company didn't call to notify" by now I'm sure I am not the only one this has happened to, so the company that notify's you should have heard from you a long time ago since this is not the first time. I doubt they are so busy for this to continue to happen. I only keep coming back because the food is worth it. I especially love the dumplings. Probably the strangest experience I have ever had. I understand covid and sanitation procedures but this establishment took a different approach. Styrofoam plates and plastic ware for everything. If you want a fork, napkins, any thing like that there is a table to help yourself. Nice right? Well the napkins had sauce fingerprints all over them because Inconsiderate people who did not plan ahead had to go get them with their nasty greasy hands. We were seated right next to another table while there were 10 in the vicinity with no one sitting there so that is counterintuitive. Also, it’s required that everyone wears masks while near the food and I was the only one to wear it. Kids coughing all over the place, no masks, dirty napkins and a bunch of plastic wear that everyone reaches their hands inside a community box to get aside, the food was awful.
