Old Navy — Local services in Stamford

I’ve been going to this location for a while now and I had such an uncomfortable experience today. I popped in just to browse, mostly looking for leggings, but also wanted to see all the new Christmas stuff they had. As I’m walking around I’m approached by a female associate asking me if I needed help finding something. I said no and I was just browsing and wasn’t necessarily looking for anything in particular. The way she approached me was kind of odd, but I didn’t think much of it. I’m walking around for a few more minutes when a male associate practically yells out to me. I had my headphones in so I took them out and he repeated himself and said “do you need help buying something???” Extremely rude and pushy and made me feel uncomfortable almost as if he was insinuating i was trying to steal or I shouldn’t be in there if I wasn’t going to buy something. It was very weird behavior and made me so uncomfortable I left the store. It’s unfortunate because I was planning on purchasing something but I felt so uncomfortable I just wanted to leave. I worked in retail for 5 years so I understand loss prevention and looking out for potential theft but these employees could use some training on how to approach people and not make anyone uncomfortable and the actual signs to look for LP. Had a great experience with the young helpful girls except for the manager named “Tristan” he saw the girls struggling working hard and didn’t even give them a hand as he was just scrolling through his phone and laughing, not what a responsible manager would do. He consistently shirked responsibilities, failed to provide guidance or support, and seemed more interested in their own personal pursuits than in the success of the team. Communication was practically non-existent, leaving employees feeling directionless and undervalued. Bad manager for this location. Employees deserve a chance at becoming manager....

I had a great experience. Jeans were on sale for 15 dollars. There was a great buy on shorts. Now, I have a tan light weight pair of shorts with pockets for tennis. Kids T-SHIRTS were 5 bucks in Old Navy. While I was in Ridgeway mall I went to Marshall's, Michael's and Modell's to buy several items at both stores. I really like the small screw driver with 8 bits and the battery lit ghost necklace from Michael's. At Modell's, the 3 light weight sweat pants and spandex long johns i purchased will be great for Fall tennis and biking. I tried on a pair of kool boots in Marshall's but they...
