Get Well Urgent Care Of Sterling Heights — Local services in Sterling Heights

This is the only urgent care I'll ever visit. All members of the staff are extremely friendly and the providers are professional. I had a wonderful experience with John, the PA, he is highly competent and I felt that I was in great hands. Normally when you visit an urgent care they try to get you in and out ASAP and there's always a long wait. This was not the case here. I didn't wait long at all and John was still apologizing for the minimal wait. When he entered my room he was extremely efficient and personable.

What I appreciated the most was the professionalism that John displayed. He contacted me with my test results and made sure that my prescription was sent in and received by the pharmacy. I have never received such personal and quality care from an urgent care. I usually dislike urgent cares because it feels so impersonal, but this one is truly amazing. If I could make John my PCP, I would!

I have also been to their Madison Heights location in the past and that one is great too. There was a slightly longer wait there, but then again this location just opened up. I did notice that there is an option online to make an appointment. This location is brand new, clean, and beautiful!

I definitely recommend this location and the Madison Heights one. Although my experience was only with John, I'm sure the other providers...

This has been by far my favorite Urgent Care… Honestly though, from the friendly and compassionate receptionist, to the Physician’s assistant and Dr John … it was a good visit. Dr. John is an amazing doctor with a very good bedside manner. He listens and cares about the patient. I also wanted to put a special thank you for Dr. John being an understanding and forgiving person; and I say this because one of my previous visits a month or two ago, I had a meltdown/severe panic attack in the clinic and I was way too loud and very rude , I walked out. (My own fault.. nothing they did!) I came back just the other day and he still treated me with kindness and accommodated my needs when I had a horrible migraine and nausea and other health concerns like dehydration and chest pains. They also hydrated me through the IV like I had hoped because that usually helps me a lot when I can’t seem to hold down much when I’m overly stressed out and in autistic burnout mode. Dr John and his female PA and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and I appreciate it so very much. It was a very good experience and I wanted to note down how amazing the staff was. And the PA was a wonderful person who listens to your concerns and makes you feel comfortable. Thank you to Dr. John and all of the staff members at this Urgent care...

Hope the service is better now and much cleaner but when I really was in need of and looking for high quality service back November 2021, I was unfortunately highly disappointed with the service I received. It was not anything I was hoping it would be from the great reviews this urgent care had.

I was feeling so sick than I have ever been, had difficulty breathing,high fever,coughing and saw the raving reviews for this place. Parking lot is like a war zone. So small and had many potholes. Once I saw the parking lot, I wanted to leave but I was so sick, I had to be seen by a doctor. The lobby and front desk staff wasn't friendly or inviting at all and the wait was so long, probably almost an hour. I felt the staff didn't ask for a thorough medical history and tried to rush us in and out, push medication, and Covid test when I didn't want it done. The tech who took care of me was not experienced or friendly. Ended up having a negative rapid test and PCR.

On the other hand, the nurse practitioner was very personable, followed up with me via phonecall with my results and xray tech were wonderful but overall wasn't a pleasant experience at all. I would not recommend this facility and will not...
