I stopped in here after visiting HMart and where do I even begin? Do I begin with how dirty this place is. Or do I talk about how disgusting the chicken leg quarters smell? Or how much fat they put in their ground beef to save a penny or two. Just by looking you can tell their produce & fruit is bottom of the barrel. Why not just carry quality items for .25 cents more. I should’ve known not to buy anything and turned right around when I noticed how dirty the place was and how unsanitized the workers were. Then they try to give you their hot bread for free… no thx 🤢 Too many other clean Middle Eastern grocers in this area with the same prices to shop here. Save your money and head elsewhere. You’ll thank me from saving you from the animal zoo. Also, I believe it is the owner, is very overbearing and thinks he’s helping you out when you really just want to shop in peace. Maybe the rest of the employees should learn a thing from him when you actually...
Read moreThe owner is super angry and doesn't appreciate his customers. They over charged us by accident and when I went back about 3 weeks later after I remembered I was telling him about it he told me that he doesn't believe me although I know them for few years and we always talk about food and thought he was my friend and I was really shocked. I was OK whatever, went back again after few weeks and was lucky or unlucky, lol, enough to have him cash me out as they were busy and I just told him he did me wrong last time as I felt he was my friend and man man man, I wish I never went back. He started screaming telling me to leave the store out loud infront of all customers inside the store and didn't respect himself and his customers. I was like man this guy got some serious issues. My boddy calmed me down and told me not to go down to his level. His wife is super nice but he is...
Read moreWhat doesn't this place have? The most well-rounded & well-stocked market I've seen around here. Produce, meat, fish, canned goods, freshly baked breads, tons of Middle Eastern fare, bulk items and more. I went in this time for a few items for dinner: feta cheese & that delicious garlic spread plus some fresh baked Iraqi bread. Feta is a huge favorite in my house and those puny 6 ounce packages won't cut it. I bought a 4 pound bucket (they have several bigger sizes, too) for just $15. 6 still warm loaves of bread for $1.50. The produce selection is, like most of the store, wider than the big grocery chains. So is the spice aisle, canned goods and my nemesis, the sweets. Cookies, sweets and candies call to me and resisting isn't easy. I'll be in next for lentil soup...
