Based on reviews, I called, spoke with Samantha. She took time to talk to me; I told her I needed sleeves, she said no problem. Drove an hour to get there and she was waiting with dresses. The gown I chose was $700, only alterations were hemming, bra inserts and sleeves. Since it was August I told her there was no rush, wedding was in November. After 1 month I called, she said they had been busy but would be calling in a week. After another month I called and made appt. For fitting. The dress looked different, sleeves were godawful. Anything I expressed concern about I was overtalked. I'm almost 70 yrs old, do not buy gowns. I took dress to a seamstress friend who found that the hem had only been sewn on 1 side, other side was raw fabric; inserts were put in but bodice was not resewn, waistline was taken apart & raw fabric was sticking out and sleeves were ready to fall off because they were single stiched to the beads. Pics were taken and I'm paying to have dress fixed. i called Star, thinking it was an isolated incident & wanting to be reimbused for repairs. She was indignant, kept talking over me, just like at the fitting. I kept asking her to please let me finish but she wouldn't. She kept saying I was accusing them yet I wasn't. Was the dress defective? It fit perfect when I bought it! They cut the dress, why wasn't it hemmed? She refused to listen to me at all like I ruined my own dress! She just kept coming at me, speaking in a shrill voice. I didn't want my money back, just repairs paid. I believe my dress sat around and someone tried to do a rush job. I will be seeing...

There is nothing but good things to say about this place. When I went looking for prom dresses, I stumbled across this place as a complete accident. Me and my mother had been looking at different stores for hours and found nothing but small selections of dresses and rude, pushy, store employees. Then we found this place. When we first walked in, we were greeted by welcoming faces and helpful attitudes. Were were then left to look at the dresses in peace, selecting the ones I wanted to try on... Then when I did actually start to try them on, the ladies had nothing but compliments and honest opinions, which was nicely refreshing (considering the last store we had been in, the man who helped us was quite rude). One of the last dresses I tried on, everyone fell in love with. The only problem was that it was just a bit too small. Normally, this would be disheartening and discouraging, but not here! They found out they had the same dress in the right size, 20 minutes down the road, and the lady helping us went and brought it back. The dress fit perfect and everyone who saw me in it loved it. This is the only store I will go to from now on, and then my sister after me. The women here are so helpful and kind, there are an obscene amount of beautiful dresses, and they honestly have something for everyone. They truly made my whole prom...

I am really glad that we decided to come here. My daughter and I weren't sure where to start, but after reading the reviews, we thought we would see what is was like. The place was somewhat busy but it was worth going there. There were many prom dresses to choose from, many styles, many colors. And, when you were ready to try on a dress, the ladies there were always there to help you. They always made sure they were right there when you opened your dressing room door. Wonderful people and funny I have to add. My daughter did not know what she was looking for but once she started trying on different styles, the ladies were quick to help find the right dress! There are only two dressing rooms but it still wasn't too bad waiting to get in and try on the dresses. While waiting, it was kind of fun watching the other girls in their "prom dress to be". This also gave us some ideas as well being able to see what other dresses looked like on other people. All in all, it was a trip well worth it. There were some people there that drove an hour or two. We drove about an hour. We are happy. Oh by the way, the ladies there are really really nice. Thank you Stars...
