I am very disappointed in my first filipino Friday. I found out about this place the day after the last one, so I had been eagerly awaiting the next. It happened to be my nephews birthday, so I talked my family into going here. We are half filipino. They ran out of bbq after we ordered. Instead of just asking one of us to change our order, they made our sticks bare, with like 3 pieces of meat on them. See, if they hadn't made one full and 3 goofy small portions, it would have been better received, maybe even a discount? We didn't get the bread basket as advertised, but the people behind us got one, finished it all, and received another one from a table that hadn't been clear off yet. The service was terrible. It's like we weren't invited to the party, unwelcome guests. The service was slow. Had to ask for a refill and the waitress took our 3 cups and then mixed them up and didn't know who each cup belonged to, so instead of new cups, she offered us new straws and walked away. Ridiculous. Is a kids' meal really $11.50? We wouldn't know because we never got a real menu for the kid, but they let us order sliders for him. Whatever he ate them. For $100, I expected to be full. Instead, we all left...
Read moreVery unprofessional and unclean. Not unclean necessarily in the sense of the building, but more less the staff. Staff were running around doing everything from food to silverware and not once were seen washing hands. They looked like they were in their own home kitchen. Even some staff members just didn’t look presentable(cleanliness and all). Speaking of not presentable.. one lady had a “you are number one shirt” with a middle finger on it. Hey I’m all for that, but not at a family restaurant that’s not presentable at all. Negative stars for the atmosphere. Food was decent until it started digesting. You can clearly see everything they use is cheap as it can be. It’s literally all right there for you to see. They are a family restaurant so I guess I somewhat understand? I don’t think it’s still necessary okay though. Would not recommend or be back.
P.s. Just to show you a little more about presentation, here’s dirty condiment containers and an inversion table in the...
Read moreMegan is exactly what’s needed now adays in customer service. I have my son’s wedding coming up, so I decided to order a healthy omelette from Old House. Megan answered the phone and she was pleasant from the start. I ordered my omelette and asked for their awesome hollandaise sauce on the side. I apologized for the unhealthy choice. Megan made me feel better by saying, “baby steps!” I go pick up my order. The food was ready and waiting. Megan was there to greet me as pleasant as ever. I get back to the office, opened my bag, and there it was on the top of my food container, “all the steps count!” Exactly what a 54 year old man needed to get me started. Thanks Old House Family! You have a good one in Megan!
