Went in for a gaming headset for my son. There were two people behind the register another woman walked up around the same time as me and the young lady behind the register began helping her. I stood there for a few seconds just kind of waiting for the guy behind the register to help me but he never offered. So I asked him if he was able to assist me to which he responded “what” in a very rude way even scrunching up his face. So I repeated myself “were you able to help me”. This time his response was “are you done” (shopping) I told him what I needed help with, and he grabbed me a headset, but he grabbed the wrong one so I told him I wanted the cheaper one of that same brand which seemed to annoy him further. I proceeded with checkout, very quiet and awkwardly, and then left.

I find myself wondering if this kid knew he was in customer service or not. And if his job wasn’t to check people out then what exactly is it that he’s being paid to do and why was he just standing there behind the register singing ghetto songs out loud for customers to...
