Nasty racist and rude. Not sure if the owners can have reviews removed but I posted a review a few years ago when I went and the nasty miserable racist thing that worked in the wig section yelled at my child for touching a wig. When I confronted her she cussed me out. Not sure if she still works there but if she does she has it coming to her when she meets the right one on the wrong day.
Today i went in looking for a specific gel. I searched the gel shelf and did not see it . Some beauty supply stores have multiple shelves with the same type of item and since it's been years since I visited this store I did what any customer would do and just asked.
There was a skinny Asian older man stocking the shelves and he did even look up nor greet me when I walked up. The Asian man behind the counter did. I didnt see the xtreme wetline gel and asked the man because a few years back they didnt have what I needed but a younger worker told me to write it down so she could order it.
The man did not even let me finish asking my question before he barked at me THIS IS ALL!!!! While frantically waving his hand like I was wasting his time. Horrible customer service. Did not turn around to look at me nor make eye contact but you want the black community's money. ?! (Scoff)
I asked the man at the counter about the gel. He seemed a bit clueless and was about to ask the same man about it. I told him not to worry about it because I asked the man was unhelpful and rude.
I went right into Sally's next door and found the gel.
Its obvious the owners only give a dam about money and robbing black people dry. They dont give a sh*t about how they treat us because sadly they know some of us will just keep coming back. This was just a reminder to me to never set foot back into chapel beauty again.
I get better service at natalyas beauty supply in Conyers (black owned). Or sunnys beauty suppl . There are...
Read moreI had an absolute terrible experience with this store. I went in looking for a quick hairstyle to do for my hair so I checked out their wig section in which I found they had plenty choices to choose from. While I was looking I took a while because the selections that they had didnât have my hair color and I found two wigs that I thought would go perfectly. When I asked the representative if I could try the wig on she had a terrible disposition about herself and said no. So I said okay and I kept looking one wig I saw and wanted to see the hair color so I slightly opened it to check the color. When I went to the front to ask if she had the wig in any other color she looked at the package and yelled mind you the wig was still in the pack so she took it away from me and I said okay then I went back to the wig section and she followed behind us and stood there until we went into another aisle. Then she finds a wig cap opened and assumed that we tried to steal the wig and steal a wig cap and asked us to immediately leave. I proceeded to tell her I wasnât going anywhere and that she could check the cameras and call the police because I wouldnât have a right to steal. Overall the experience was terrible. I will never go back to this store. I have never had such a terrible experience with dealing with being accused of stealing. I would not ever consider...

Stonecrest/Lithonia is a very interesting place. This area is 99.99999% Black but majority of the stores ran and owned by Asians 124 package liquor store Chapel Beauty Entertainment etc.... the 124 package liquor store all black workers all have a gun on them along with the DeKalb County police officer who is security at the store. Out of all the places he could be besides making sure liquor is safe and out of harms way. Chapel Beauty all black workers most with sarcastic attitudes, you look good working for a foreigner in your community how about that. All the stores at the mall food entertainment ASIANS! But this Chapel Beauty and return policy, I can buy a pair of clippers take them home plug them in and they not work and you can not return nor exchange I learned quick how to deal with that. Spend your money with your own notwithstanding the policy and procedures. TAKE BACK OUR COMMUNITY Lastly I bet as a black person you can not go to a Asian community and start a business that they will support, you won't have a chance at...
