This was a last minute choice.  Usually a very good place to satisfy your hunger at a good price, and it held to that.  There were some issues, not with the food but with the service. Our wait time for almost everything was a bit longer than expected.  And when we were sat down, it seems that the bartender was our server/waitress as well.  She was pulling double duty it seemed. Our order was placed and as we sat, we noticed others coming in and being seated...  No big deal, until the food they had ordered was being delivered far earlier than our order, which was obviously placed way earlier than the others had arrived. Our order wasn't a huge one, Soup and Salad with breadsticks entree, appetizers of spinach artichoke dip with flatbread crisps and a Shrimp Fritto Misto with breaded vegetables.  Also ordered their Green Apple Sangria wine. That being said, we waited on the Sangria for some time too, and my guest suggested we should have gotten the Watermelon one, she was right. Barely a hint on the green apple... As far as the food, well as was stated earlier, all new orders from later guests were being served to them and they were far more indepth in making than you would suspect a simple salad and soup and a couple of appetizers. But here we sat as we saw more than a few meals being laid out ahead of us...  My guest was getting a little heated about it... It was about 30 or so minutes in and we finally started getting our order...  You could see it was an overworked and under staffed location. Now, don't get me wrong, the food was good, especially the Zuppa Toscano Soup...  It was the highlight of the meal.  That is one you should definitely try, as you can always order a different soup each time. The salad was also good, but it seems that they used to fill the bowl, but ours was about half or just over. The Spinach Artichoke dip was good too.  It's a heavier dip, but most are with those ingredients.  I liked the flatbread for dipping. The Shrimp Fritto Misto was better than expected, the shrimp was just right, and the onions and bell peppers breaded and hot, hit that note... Our server/waitress/bartender did well considering the lack of help.  Overall, it was a good meal once we received it. Food service is a tough area and I can say that is one job I wouldn't want.  But those who do work them, they have an especially hard time with customers and their expectations,  ultimately it is on the Manager and the Owners to do better and not stress those who are holding it down. A nice well deserved tip to our multi tasked bartender was in order. We will always be customers of the Olive Garden franchise, just knowing not all are well staffed...

On Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, three friends and I had the most wonderful dining experience at Olive Garden at Turner Hill Road. We arrived at the restaurant after ending a long three-day event and were looking forward to a nice, relaxing dinner.  Olive Garden did not disappoint. From the time we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess, who seated us in a booth.  Our server, Omar Sharif, quickly arrived at our table, greeted us, and took our orders. He was professional, charming, humorous, and attentive. During our conversation with him, we found out he had been a server for many years--and it showed. I am a former restaurant manager and I can say Omar is the type of employee that I would want on my staff.  He memorized all four of our orders in detail, even when we added extra items and one of us completely changed her order.  He did not complain or get frustrated.  He repeated our order to us and got it 100% right! Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious and our drinks were refilled promptly. It was the perfect dinner and a perfect wrap-up to an exhausting weekend. We were so impressed with Omar, that I asked to speak to his manager, Carlos, who came to our table right away.  We shared with him what a joy Omar was, and congratulated him on running a great restaurant with well-trained staff.  We had a pleasant conversation with him before finishing our evening. I live in Gwinnett County, about 50 minutes away from this Olive Garden, so most likely I will not return any time soon.  However, if I do find myself on this side of town, I will most definitely return here to dine.  I HIGHLY recommend this Olive Garden!

UPDATE DELIVERY REVIEW 2/19/2025: Last night I tried Olive Garden's delivery and I was sooo impressed! Everything was perfectly packed; all of the instructions were followed; and, most importantly, I felt like the food I received was the same quality I'd get if I dined in. (We all know restaurants tend to send subpar food if you order delivery... not Olive Garden!) The delivery fee was kind of expensive ($4.99) but it was 100% worth it based on receiving a perfect order! It also arrived quicker than expected! I live less than a mile away--yes, I know I could have picked it up lol but I was busy :) --and the site said it'd take 40-50 mins. My food was at my door in less than 30 mins. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best delivery I've had! Food was hot. Order was perfect. And everything was well packaged and organized! I'll definitely be using their delivery service again. ORIGINAL REVIEW TO-GO ORDER REVIEW 1/2025 3-stars My order was ready on time and the staff is very friendly! That being said, DO NOT select curbside pickup and expect them to bring you your order on time; you'll probably be waiting 15-20 mins as they only have 1 to-go person who's busy filling orders and answering the phone. Taking orders outside is last on their list. Also, the pickup link they text you doesn't even work so I decided to go inside. I got the stuffed chicken marsala and it was sooo good! They followed all of the special instructions and the food was packaged perfectly. Once they figure out their curbside issues the to-go process would definitely be 5-stars.

We drove 30 min to come specifically here because my husband was craving OG. We arrived at 820 and they said it would take about 2 min. We were sat around 830 which was fine. As we approached the table our server rolled her eyes and seemed exhausted that we were there. I went ahead and typed in literally all the drinks for the table except one kid drink which you can’t and our main meals. I even typed in the kid meals. My husband wanted endless soup and salad and I told the server he normally will eat about three salads cause he loves them. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce to be easy for the server because she was making a point of saying she had been there since 4. She struggled to remember what we needed like our refills, and ketchup for a kids meal. We joked around the first few times and was playful but then my daughter never received a refill that she asked for or the to go we also asked for. I never received mine either. I even said “don’t worry honey I’ll grab you a sprite on the way home” and our server never rectified. She actually got frustrated when after sitting there for 20 min with no one around that we had to ask for things which would have actually only been my husbands 3rd bowl of soup. The breadsticks at this location were amazing I will say that. When she brought out his third salad she said “do you know what it took for me to get this out here?” And was making a point that it was 9:40 and I just simply said “yes if anyone says anything let them know they are lucky they figured it out cause we’ve been sitting here since 830 and it’s only his third salad and this entire visit we’ve been made to feel like an inconvenience.” How can soup and salad be your signature but you don’t want to allow him what he paid for? How can I pay $4 for a drink but not get refills when advertised this way? We never got mints and we were never asked if we wanted dessert. Maybe ask your boss for a three hour shift cause at 4.5 hours you were struggling. 🤷🏼‍♀️I tipped cause every dime counts in this business but I just wish I felt she cared about what we needed like...

I called and spoke to some one over the phone asked them if they  would be able to put an order in for me. The  employer  said OK. I told them I would be  be arriving in 5 mins but that   i was going to eat there. I said please make sure it put in so i can eat there  I'm on my lunch break and i only have an hour.  I got there the food was not ready which i knew it wouldn't be. I didn't mind that  what i did mind was they had me under Monica Brown  Which is not my name  but was the order i Order. They told me it was put to go which i mentioned to the person it was suppose to be for here and she told me it would be its not. another Employee told me the person that took my order was new. I said ok  but now i guess i wont be enjoying my meal  because it was put to go. waited almost 30 mins for my food which had no flavor and did not taste like Shrimp scamp. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender if she could transfer my food ticket to the drink order. she asked another employer and said no They are not allowed to Combine to go order  with  dine in items. I said OK  but my food should of been for here which clearly they put to go. How is that my fault I did not enjoy my drink cause it was so think and sweet. The drink was just horrible i ask the bartender if she could add club soda to my drink to see if it was get unsweetened and even after that it still continued to be sweet. Service was just horrible. After  all i had been through with this experience i said to myself. servers were unattentive  and  neglected most tables by standing around talking near the  bar area. How do servers expect to get a good tip and not  be polite where was the hospitality yesterday.  I sure pick the wrong place  to go thinking i was going to enjoy my lunch. There went a total of almost 25$ for a horrible...
