Unlike most reviews that are reviewing their personal services (which should appear on the website of the person they are actually reviewing), I wanted to provide review of the actual suites themselves. Let's consider driving to a parking lot that is quite untidy. I had a standing Saturday 8:45 a.m. appointment with my stylist for over a year. Each time I parked, the lot was littered with debris, which made me uncomfortable. Even with trash bins visible, people still choose to litter (a phenomena that is increasingly perplexing for me to understand). I wonder if people are "hanging out" in the parking lot in the overnight hours, or are clients who are coming in throwing their trash in the parking lot. Either way it is gross, and says something about the owners of the establishment and how much they put into the keeping and caring of the facility (and no offense to the Property Manager because she is expected to be a jack of all trades...cleaning bathrooms, keeping the inside and outside clean-which is nearly impossible and is more than a one person job). The Owners should invest in several people for this job- but wait...they'd rather keep all profits and operate on a shoestring budget. Since this review is solely about ownership/property upkeep, let's now turn to the state of the actual building. One wing of bathrooms was recently renovated (good job on that). What's happening with the other wing? The women's rooms are basic, at best. Poor , rickety locks on the doors, low water pressure at both the toilet and sink level and an almost inoperable air dryer are all, in my experience, unsanitary. With the number of people coming in and out of the facility, this is a basic human right in a private facility. And how the owners treats the stylists, (not friendly during their physical visits- not getting to know their renters) "nickel and diming" them for any and everything they want to do in the suite. Basically, charging them if they want to paint and make the salon nice. Three hundred dollars to hang a television (which you are mounting for yourself), is utterly ridiculous! The Owners also does everything they can to keep the deposit of the renters/stylist, charging them for holes and wall coverings that were there when the moved into the suite. The management makes it difficult to move away without them keeping some of the deposit. What I have seen and heard is akin to slumlords! It wasn't until my stylist relocated, that I realized how substandard the conditions were at Stonecrest Salon Suites (and that is only because she was THAT good), as I am sure your service provider is. One should also keep in mind that the owners look nothing like the renters at the suites, I'm willing bet they don't reinvest in OUR community (I wonder what little league team they've sponsored lately). Remember, we should be reviewing the facility on this site, not how wonderful our stylist/service providers are. Next time you go, take a critical look around at the state of the facility (not the suite or service you frequent). We can and should be treated better! We should take to the power of review and demand the best facilities. They know they have a 'cash cow' in these suites and we should show them that we know we deserve unmatched facilities. If We don't advocate for OURSELVES, no one else will.

Read moreSTYLIST BEWARE!!! This company is ran by unethical, money hungry Asians who make a career off of black people's dollars while treating them poorly! They increased my rent up $120 monthly and the environment is DEFINITELY not worth that much of an increase. If you're trying to run a professional business and you have professional clientele, this place is not for you. The owners have been avoiding me because they don't want to give me my deposit back. They have no morals at all. Every week they come up with a new way to try and charge their tenants a fee for anything they can think of. Ms Tee the property manager is the ONLY good thing about this place. She's EXCEPTIONAL and deserves much more. She's overworked there but she does what she has to do with no complaints. I would NEVER recommend any licensed professional to rent from their establishment. My money is valuable and I'm only spending it with people...
Read moreThey say your deposit is refundable but they will find any reason to not refund it when youâre ready to move out. If you make the unfortunate decision to make this your place of business it wonât take long for you to know this isnât the place to be. They do not care anything about the facility. If they did then they wouldnât have barbers and stylists pay a deposit for painting or improvements to their suite just to have them do it themselves. That deposit should go to a professional to do the job. The owners pocket that money. They will also go up on your rent without warning and what theyâre charging isnât worth paying them. To add icing on the cake your vehicle and your clients vehicles are subject to be broken into. Do not recommend making this your spot to...
