On 10/30 I toke a trip to mystic with friends. After visiting the aquarium we walked over to the village to shop. Hours later I realized I lost a very sentimental bracelet, I looked through photos and placed that I had lost it at the village. Devastated that I couldn’t go back to search for it as I would miss the train back I noted down all the shops we visited hoping someone had found it. The next morning I called every shop and on my third call I was given the number to Bestemors who is the villages lost and found. I called and had the pleasure of speaking to one of there employees who informed me they didn’t have it but would take my information and contact me. Later that day I received a text someone had found it and turned it in!!! I got back in contact with Bestemors who kindly shipped it back to me!! Bestemors is intense. There is a lot going on and a lot to discover. The shelves are packed with colorful and unique items. They carry a lot of Nordic/Viking items, but they also have nesting dolls, childrens' books, ornaments, and items from many different countries. You can get shoes or boots here, as well as tourist items like shirts, mugs, and magnets.

A store like this needs to be well organized and thankfully Bestemors is just that. The sections are well-defined and easily navigated. The staff is cheerful and very helpful. Getting to the register and checking out was a breeze.
