I have a sewing/embroidery machine dealer 15 minutes away from me but their waiting time was about 2 weeks so I decided to take my machine baby lock valiant to Pocono sew & Vac even if it’s about hour drive, because their waiting time was only one week. I was expecting that they will do awesome job since they are Baby lock dealers. I was so wrong. The issues I had with my machine wasn’t fix and since day one I had tension issues that I couldn’t fix no matter what I tried. I contacted them through email, sending pictures and basically I have been told this could not be their fault because technicians are certified and know what they are doing and it must be user error. I’m pretty sure if they comment below that’s what they will say: I know nothing and they could not be wrong. I know my machine. I had this machine for 5 years, my problems started after I picked it up from their shop! The machine was still squeaking and stitching was absolutely awful, it was creating 3-D effect looked like I’m using puff foam on the inside of the garment. I’ve been doing embroidery for seven years and that was the first time I experience some thing like this. I had to take it to my local sewing center and they said they the whole thing with rotary hook and bobbin needed to be replaced! Additional $300 on top what I payed in Poc sew Vac. They offer guarantee if anything is wrong but if they couldn’t fix it in the first place and caused more that good…. Why would go back. Pretty sure they will blame me for...
Read moreI just can’t say enough about the team at PS&V. The service they provide, the individual attention to each question I had, their knowledge and support surpass anything I’ve ever encountered anywhere! I purchased an Elna sewing machine through PS&V at a quilt show some years ago. I then decided to purchase the Little Foot Long arm with the Simply Sixteen. Eventually, I realized this was too small for my needs so I traded up to the Amara 20” and the Studio 3 frame. Each time I had any questions, I always received prompt, courteous answers. I live in Massachusetts which meant I had to travel all the way to Pennsylvania to purchase the Simply Sixteen and also drive all the way to Binghamton New York to their show to purchase the Amara. There are dealers a lot closer to me but when you find great service, you don’t mind going the distance. Thank you Paul and all the team at Pocono Sew & Vac for always making me feel like I was your...
Read moreLove this store. Peggy is the manager and Andrea an employee, I'm sorry I don't know if she's a supervisor but they both were Very Kind and helped me. They explained a lot of different things that I inquired about. They didn't mind taking the time to show me where the items were in the store. There is a Large Vaiety of items. The best of all, in my opinion, is the wide variety of sewing machines, marrow, embroidery and regular easy machines for us beginner's. They will demonstrate how they work. Not sure if a buyer is allowed to try the machines but you can always ask. They also Sell Vacumes and supplies for those items. If you need Anything sewing & they don't have it they will suggest where you may be able to get it. It's the Great Old Fashion Customer Service to the Max. Take the time to go, it's definitely worth it. Thankyou Ladies. This was my fourth visit to your store and my experience has Always...
