If your looking for pretty looks for your home, Baer's is a store for you. If your looking for a store to service a problem with your purchase, look elsewhere. Purchased a $3000 plus Huntington House motorized recliner 2 years ago, and 10 months later stopped working. Took weeks to get a service call with multiple phone calls, but ultimately problem was resolved. Now, 9 months after the the last service the chair has stopped working again. This time went down to the Stuart store and was handed a business card with a service number to call, and was told this was the only way to set up service. Never does a person answer the phone, and your audio directed to go thru numerous steps to set up a service call. This was the worst automated system I ever experienced, and I highly encourage one of the Baer family members to try themselves to set up a service call to see the nightmare they created. Gave up calling the service number, and contacted a Baer's web person with an email. The web person called me and set up a service call almost 4 weeks down the road. Just had the second home service call today and was told they don't carry parts and need to order them which will take another 6-8 weeks. WOW! So now it will be almost 3 months I won't be able to use my $3000 plus the chair since purchase . I'm not judging Baer's on the fact if man makes something it can break, but I am judging them on how they fix the problem and as far as I'm concerned Baer's is the worst service I have ever experienced. Read moreAs a returning customer, I’m very disappointed in the service I’ve received this week. I called on Saturday off last week regarding dining chairs that were on sale I wanted to see if they were in stock. No one could tell me I had to wait for a sales rep to call me back. Never happened. I called back on Monday and was told I have to wait someone will call me. I couldn’t get to the store before the sale ended because my husband had Covid. I wanted to see if they would hold the chairs and price for one extra day. Since I received no call We managed to get to the store on Tuesday one day before the sale ended double masked. Three sales staff just standing around NOT BUSY, But to busy to call a customer back. We went in purchased the chairs and was out in less then 15 mins easy sale. Chairs arrived today for delivery and ALL had a very dangerous manufacturing defect. All the chairs had pointed screws protruding from the legs of the chairs. We never even took them off the truck, it was so obvious. Where is the quality control? Who ever pulled these chairs for delivery had to have seen it, you couldn’t miss it. I called and all I could get from Beers was we’ll have someone call you back. Yeah, I’ll wait for that like earlier in the week when no one called me back. Read moreWent there less than two weeks ago and ordered some furniture. A saleswoman greeted us and started helping us until another customer came in and asked for her. She asked us if she could quickly go help him as he was in the night before. 45 minutes later my husband said "let's go". She walked over to us and said she was ready to help us. I told her what furniture I was there for and as we were browsing the store for the 45 minutes, I also seen a swivel barrel chair that we liked. It was 379 dollars on sale. Our sales lady said the sale would be over DEC 3rd on that chair. We put our order in, and when I was studying it on the way home, I noted the chair wasn't on the order. I tried to get hold of our sales lady 3 times this week and she wasn't scheduled to work. Then she called me yesterday and told me my furniture was scheduled for this coming Friday. I told her that I wanted the chair, and she couldn't remember the chair and acted like she wanted to get me off the Phone. I drove up there tonight and seen a different salesperson, who showed me the chair for much more money. I told her the chair should be on sale. She looked up in her book and seen the chair on sale for 129 over what the previous salesperson told me. At this point..not about the money. Just give me the chair..get me out of here. Just a hassle going there. Too many "no's" finding a different...
