I use to love this store. I was a regular for a long time. Came in 3 or 4 times a week. After my last experience, I rarely stop in. The selection is great. The staff are always helpful but this location is notorious for being shop lifted from. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've reached for a make up item and it be either an empty box or used. With that being said, my last visit left me beyond insulted. As someone who use to spend a ridiculous amount of money here, I was looking at some items and trying stuff on as always. I went to grab a shirt and was trying to organize my cart when one of the shirts fell inside a dress. This prompted someone in the office to have a recovery agent follow me around and watch me. I left immediately out of both embarrassment and anger. I suggest you watch your cameras more carefully by the make up section or your bags because your workers have told me the stories. TJMAXX ā congratulations on redefining ācustomer service.ā š Iāve shopped here for years, but the Stuart, FL store left me shocked and heartbroken. I lost a small piece of my bracelet and politely asked for help. The jewelry associate didnāt even look, just brushed me off. Another employee hit me with, āDid you backtrack your steps?ā ā thanks, Captain Obvious.
I explained that I have severe back and nerve pain from a spinal disc pressing on a nerve and balance issues from spinal misalignment. I had my cane and cart for support and told them I couldnāt safely bend. Still, no effort, no concern, no empathy.
A manager was called and also did nothing. I found the piece myself, in pain, while staff stood by. I left in tears ā embarrassed, humiliated, and disappointed that a store Iāve always loved could care so little.

And yes a manager dazed and confused looking yet she stood behind the counter with one cashier open and six people on line. TJ MAXX DO YOU EVEN TRAIN THESE MANAGERS OR JUST PROMOTE THE ONES THAT SHOW UP FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE WEEKS. Previous Review: Letās face it T.J. Maxx is odds and ends over runs and cancelled orders. So itās find it or NOTHING. This particular store seems to have more junk than bargains. The staff is apathetic except for the lady at the fitting room whoās just unhappy and rude.
