Mr. Gyros — Restaurant in Stuart

This place used to be one of our favorite quick meal spots however, tonight was the last time we’ll ever go here. When we walked in, 3 ppl were standing behind the counter just talking as no one was inside the restaurant eating at the time. We ordered our food which took forever to get and when it did come, we were missing parts of the order and then had to wait even longer. The food was good but the biggest problem for us was how disgusting the dining area was. There were tables with food and garbage left behind on most tables, one that had rice spilled all over the table and floor that you couldn’t sit at even if you wanted to. Out of all of the tables, there were two, maybe 3 that were decent enough to sit down at. My husband decided to bring this to the attention of the manager expecting them to at least wipe down a table or two. More people came in and struggled to find a place to sit while the staff ignored the mess and just went about their business while customers tried to wipe off the food with their own napkins so they can sit. It’s sad that the people who work here clearly don’t care about anything other than collecting a paycheck from an owner who isn’t around to over see what a disaster this location has...

Good location, mall with TJ-Maxx and Home Goods has a lot of potential customers. On weekends big parking lot is filled to the brim. There is ample sitting inside and outside, many people order to go - and, as we learned, for a good reason. We decided to stay inside as it was too sunny outside. The tables and chairs looked worn with fading paint and scuffs. It took quite a bit time to get the order. Food was OK, but barely OK, French fries very basic, dry and hard, dip was not fresh (frozen, thawed, watery), salad and dressing was a mess, meat was sparse and bland. However, the biggest issue was the cleanliness. Our table looked a little bit dirty with few crumbs and smudges, and we selected the one the looked the best. I did a quick check with a napkin and there was quite a bit of dirt, napkin was dark gray, table was not cleaned in days. There were four employee in the store, but I would say only 1, at times 1.5, were helping customers. Others were slouching around, bored with their phones, occasionally busy with personal hygiene or enjoying bottled drinks from the cooler. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this...

This review is being left by a former regular customer. On a Thursday night after work, I ordered a chicken gyro with a salad, a lamb gyro with a salad, and an order of baklava, to go. I got home and there was no lamb gyro with salad. Everything else was fine. I couldn’t call with my complaint that night as I didn’t discover the error until after they were closed. And, being rather busy, I didn’t take the time to call them until tonight (Wednesday). I told them the day and time that I was there and that they should be able to confirm my order with register receipts. After being put on hold twice for over 5 minutes, I was told that they are too busy to find that order and since I didn’t have a receipt, that they weren’t willing to do anything about their negligence. When I requested to speak with the manager I was told that she’s too busy to speak with me. It’s a shame that a business in the digital age is willing to lose a regular customer over an $8 menu item. I will not be spending any more of my hard earned money...
