Poor food safety and sanitation practices - Decreased meat portions - RUDE Server

After our recent visit, we will no longer patronize this business. Thank your server, Michelle T. for her rudeness and poor sanitation and neglect of food safety.

Three slices of brisket on all of our sandwiches and our son got sick immediately after eating the pulled pork.

We often dine in and take out weekly, if not multiple times a week either as a family of eight or minimum 4-6 of us. As well as, large orders for business luncheons and holiday meals for vendors.

Michelle T. decided it was OK rudely, drop meal baskets on the table to the point of rocking/ teetering around, having to be caught before food flew out. Selectivity only refilling one drink in our party of 8 and only bringing a box only to that same person. When I asked for a box a second time -- it was clearly obvious I needed a to-go box and as her job she should have offered rather than being asked twice but I figured maybe she got busy and forgot even though she brought one for my DIL - after the second request she grabbed a box that was on the small corner cleaning table station that was there before we arrived and the rags, broom, sweeper etc are all on or leaning on. NOT GOOD SANITATION OR FOOD SAFETY!!! I told her I would prefer a different one, please. She argued, asking me why and what my problem was with it. She stomped around the corner and turned right back around bringing the same unsanitary box. My husband took it, packed the food and we left. I threw it away outside.

I did advise the cashier, Katie and she just shrugged her shoulders.

There are plenty of places to eat, spend our money and time to enjoy ourselves without rude servers and questionable sanitation and food...

This was my 1st time here and it was for a very special occasion! My Brother's and I reserved thier "party room" which is off the main dining area for my parent's Suprise 80th Birthday Bash! It was on a Sat. 3/19/22 at 2:30 in the afternoon. We had about 20 friends and family for thier party! The tables were put together in the shape of a U, which gave everybody plenty of room and we were able to see everyone without backs turned. They allow you to bring and put up any decorations you'd like as well as bringing your own cake (dessert). We all ordered off the regular menu because we were told they didn't do any special platters of food/buffet style for the parties. Our Server, a female and I'm so sorry I forgot her name was incredible! She was the sole Server for all of us and did a fantastic job! We never waited for drink refills or anything else. Everytime I turned around she was there asking if we needed anything! Bravo to this young lady! 👏 👏👏 So, I definitely would say this is a great Restaurant if you have a big party, I recommend them highly! The "only" criticism I would have is my Mother's (the Birthday girl) Chop Steak wasn't very good at all, she only had a bite and left the rest. It was cooked to her preference (Med Rare) but the taste was terrible according to her. That would be the only thing wrong of the whole 2+ hours we were there. Ate at this place before and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately this time was not the same. We had a larger party and food came out fine. Quality of food was same as before. Service was quick. The issue we had, was our son left his two day old sunglasses on the table. We walked out to the parking lot before he remembered. He ran back in, and they said they had not seen any glasses. After he came back out I went back in and asked the busboy who replied “ no glasses here”. Asked the waitress who said she didn’t see any and had already checked the busboys tray. Thought this was odd. Asked others and no one saw his glasses come off the table we were just sitting at less than 2 mins earlier. Without doubt the glasses were on the table. Everyone in our party is family and did not take them. Called to talk with a manager and was told they were on break for a hour to call back. Ridiculous people have to take stuff that does not belong to them. Watch your belongings if you visit this place.

Update called to talk to the manager the hour later like they said. They “found” the sunglasses in the “trash”. Said they must have been wrapped in napkins or something. When we went back to get them, they now had three other pairs besides my sons and knew what pair was his. At least he...
