My husband and I enthusiastically tried Bonefish Grill for the very first time last weekend, and were excited to try several appetizers as our meal with the gift card we had been given covering a part of it. We ordered Bang Bang Shrimp, Calamari, Caprese Dip (a special, as recommended by the host), and the Beef & Ginger Potstickers. Due to COVID, we ordered it as takeout, to eat in the car. We called the order in from the parking lot. We were told it would be 20 minutes. We waited for 15 minutes, then he went in to pick up order. In all, it took closer to 35-40 minutes. After getting the food, we immediately opened the calamari, because it was fried, and we wanted to eat it hot. It wasnât hot. It wasnât even warm. đ It was a highly salted measly looking portion, looking nothing like the large appetizing pieces pictured on the menu. In fact, it was so cold and salty that we couldnât eat it. We could only imagine how cold EVERYTHING wouldâve been if we had driven home with it. (Strike 1) Next, we opened the Bang Bang Shrimp. I had read great reviews about this and couldnât wait to try it! Again, we found a barely warm, overly salted, sparse portion, served with sauce in a cup, which was also was very unlike the menu photo. We only ate it because we were so hungry! (Strike 2) We then tried the potstickers. At least they looked promising and were warm, but surely not hot. They were hard and overly seared on the outside, and filled with an unappealing tasteless mush. Worst potstickers Iâve ever had! And I really LOVE potstickers! Served with watered down soy sauce. No garnish, no green onions, no ginger flavor at all. Just hard dumplings filled with bland goo. (Strike 3) Next came the Caprese dip. It was the hottest item of them all. Still impressively steaming hot 10 minutes after we started eating. But sadly, it was only mediocre, with whole grape tomatoes in it, which made it hard to eat. And wasnât it supposed to come with chips for dipping? Hmmm...perhaps we shouldâve stuck with the Imperial Dip that we ordered before the host persuaded us to switch to the Caprese. The only item we ate that night worth praising was the delicious & hot, crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside bread. So much for date night. đ An extremely disappointing meal. My husband took the uneaten calamari back inside, explained how unsatisfactory it was, and the host (who was very understanding) first offered a replacement (which we certainly didnât want) and then called the manager over. He apologized and refunded the calamari. The host even mentioned to the manager that this was our first time here. A better manager may have taken into consideration that the WHOLE meal was unsatisfactory and offered some reason for us to try them again. It was a waste of our gift card, and we wonât...

Use to be our go to, but wonât be anymore. I gave a glowing review 4 years ago; have been back a few times since. Went there Sunday around 3:00. They were not overburdened with tables and had plenty of staff which puzzled me as to why we waited 15 minutes after being seated to be acknowledged. A server, who was busy with a large party asked if anyone had been over to take our drink order yet. After placing our food order we again waited an unreasonable time for our food in which our server blamed the large party for the delay. I knew that wasnât the case - they were dining on their appetizers, and soon after that, their food came out. I told the server when he comes back the food needs to be hot and it wasnât which only means our food was sitting there in the kitchen, waiting to be picked up and got cold. Cold blackened fish tacos, fries and cold fish and chips. My husband didnât say anything, therefore neither did I. The server knew by my response I was not happy with the food. Minutes later he came back to tell us he spoke to the manager, and the manager wanted to buy us a dessert. Would have been better had the manager not charged us for our food.
This was 4 years ago. Haven't been here in quite a while; really enjoyed it when we use to dine here - in fact they use to be open for lunch during the week. Husband had the Filet Mignon, I had the Pad Thai with crispy chicken; both of our selections were delicious! Love the bread and dipping it in the oil and basil. There was a nice crowd at 2:30, husband and I enjoyed our leisurely lunch, and our server Jeanna. We will...
Read moreMonday is the day to go there for lunch. We actually thought they were closed. No cars in front or near the entrance. They take pride in the food selections, and portions. Everything we ordered was great. The burger could have been more evenly cooked, but great just the same. All condiments on the side, flavor to your taste. The steak fries tasted delicious and flavorful. Not just fried potatoes dripping with oil.. The shrimp and scallops with jasmine rice, green beans were grilled to perfection. The mango salsa was a balanced flavored experience. Their homemade tea with mango infused flavor was great. Super strong, untill the ice melts a bit to give it the perfect flavor all the way to the bottom of the glass. Service was excellent as expected. The music was too loud for # of patrons on the restaurant.
09-2025. What a disappointment for a Saturday afternoon lunch. We ordered pretty much the same items as the last visit. They brought the bread and oil / pesto sauce out 2 minutes before our meal came. It was great as usual. The shrimp and scallops were blacked so bad my wife couldn't eat them. She was not offered blacked or grilled. My burger was not good. It seemed warmed over, almost not cooked in the center. Just warm and wet. He never asked me about anything except how it needed to be cooked. I hate to leave a bad review but it was a total 360 from our last visit. And waste of...
