Was in town for a day and decided to look for a. Ice cream spot. Came upon Swirll and decided to try out their frozen yogurt. I wasnât prepared to be as pleased as I was. I honestly didnât think frozen yogurt was going to give me the flavor and taste I wanted from ice cream. I like the area where this shop is located. Itâs an upscale shopping area with a hotel/conference center and lots of restaurants and shops. Itâs a really cute area and itâs not far from several hotels. There was lots of parking on the street too. The shop looked dated on the inside. The frozen yogurt machines and even some of the signage looked old. The setup is also dated. There are some improvements to decor and layout that would do this business some good. There was one employee working and she was really helpful. She allowed me to taste two flavors and I was impressed with the flavor. The machines were clean and so was the rest of the shop. Some flavors were out and there was handwritten signage to indicate that. Your items are weighed and that is how cost is determined. I paid $25 for two bowls of frozen yogurt. It was worth it. Everything tasted amazing and I enjoyed all of the topping options. The ones in the back were harder to reach, but the options were plentiful. I almost wish they would make that the responsibility of an employee because I kept dropping toppings in other toppings containers. Overall, this was a good place to get my ice cream fix. Iâd come back if I were...
Read moreVery poor experience my honey and I went here for the first time on a busy Friday night. We came her and we needed sample cups the guys only had 3 we asked if we could ATleast have two a piece after he got one more he had he fingers all in the sample cups as if he wasnât just touching on money and other things. We informed him politely that we wasnât to fond of germs, he kept saying he understand but yet didnât replace the cups and kept his fingers in them! Shortly after people that was there before us over heard us and complained as well how stupid that was. So we werenât the only ones!
At this point he walks us over to the yougurt machines, he kept saying Iâll do it for you, weâre looking like we can get it ourselves he insisted. We asked him why wonât he let us get our own samples then he says itâs the âpolicyâ I been to PLENTY of yogurt shops all over the country and never heard of this policy, for one it TOOK away from the experience, we felt rushed and grossed out!
He did that to everyone in the store and it made the process slow and annoying for no reason besides the fact they act like people couldnât get a sample without making a mess! We then asked for the manager they said he wasnât there, then we asked for a number, email or card they claimed they couldnât give it out! For this location to be in a place like sugar land I EXPECTED a Better experience. Unfortunately you canât have quality people every where. Will never return Iâll...
Read moreThe manager there put her hands in the toppings and was snacking while cleaning.. No gloves, just her bare hands. As she was cleaning she made an announcement for everyone to take there trash with them, and not to throw it away in the store. As I was leaving, I did not see a trash can out side of the store. I asked her if she could please throw it away. She started talking bad about me to other customers as I was leaving. That was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. If I could give no stars I would. I really felt bad for the other woman working there, the manager(I'm assuming) was talking to her like a dog or a lesser being. Really hurt by what I saw tonight. In this day and age, the level of disrespect was truly...
