I ordered the Fitbit charge HR and a pack of wash cloths for in store pick up so I could get the kohls cash and it said within 4 hours my order would be ready. The full amount was immediately withdrawn from our account. We went about the day and a few hours later it said my order was ready. Then a minute later I got another email saying they couldn't fulfill my total order because the fitbits recently sold out, despite showing available still on the stores page. No big deal, I could get it somewhere else and the credit for the Fitbit was already showing back on my account, but I did not want to go to the store for the wash cloths now so I called to cancel that order. The woman in customer service was rude and not listening to what I was saying and claimed I had to call the corporate number to cancel my in store order. I called the corporate number and was told only the local store could cancel an in store pick up. I explained the situation and he called to take care of it for me. I asked if any location had them in stock and he told me the location I was ordering from actually has 10 I just can't do in store pick up because that is a low quantity. I called the store to verify they had them before I took the kids to go get it and was told they do. We headed in and found where they keep them in a locked area but I couldn't see any in the case so I went to find help. There weren't any associates around so we went to customer service where there was one customer ahead of me being helped. By the time she finished there were about three people behind me and the associate grabbed all of her things and left. I assume she was going on break but she didn't acknowledge the line of people and when another associate came into the area, I assume she was the person taking over, she didn't acknowledge anyone either. We stood there a bit longer and finally decided we would just go elsewhere. We purchased the Fitbit next door at bestbuy where they were fully stocked at the front of the store and in the minute it took me to walk into the store and to the display I already had an associate ready to help if I needed them. I thought everything was settled but the next morning I looked on my bank account to find that not only had my credit for the purchase of the Fitbit been removed but instead of crediting for the wash cloths, the charged my account for an additional pack. I called corporate to find out what was going on and was told I would have to call the local store but refunds take up to 72 hours (even though I originally had a credit instantly and now I have additional charges without authorization). I asked to speak with someone to file a complaint and was told I would have to go in my local store and have them call corporate and then I could file a complaint. Why would I go into a store that won't assist a customer in buying something just to make a complaint???? I then called the local store and spoke with a manager and explained everything. She knew who all of the employees were and was apologetic and said she would talk with all managers and all of the employees. She explained they do not have the fitbits and haven't in months and the employee who assured me they had them would be taught to go look for the item before saying it is available. Once again I thought the situation was resolved but after giving them until today (Monday) just incase the weekend held up the refund there is no refund for the original charge. I was refunded the random extra charge I received though. I called the local store as I was told to do and the manager called on my behalf to find out what was going on. She found out that I was misinformed, once again, and should receive my refund within fourteen days. Fourteen days to refund an item that they don't even carry but took my money for despite not being able to fulfill my order. You can bet I will never do online/in store pick up/ or shopping at my local kohls. Now I get to wait another week for this refund, unless they decide to change what the refund time is...

Read moreIt was a terrible experience. Every single item I was looking for did not have a single solitary price marked on it nor was there a placard with a price on it. I started off with trying to find a bathroom shower curtain. Could not find a price couldn't find anything I walked the store three times trying to find someone to help me. At which time I tried pushing one of the buttons on the device that's supposed to tell you the price of an item or call for assistance. Three different places I tried three different machines did not work. When I finally found someone the lady told me well these are not working but you could always walk to customer service or you could walk to the front of the store to a cashier. I have a great problem walking and could not do that even if I wanted to. I feel the attitude of several of the workers there at Kohl's was awful. My next problem was when I went to the jewelry department. I was looking for several pieces of costume jewelry. When I spoke to the young woman behind the counter she had no idea whatsoever about anything in her jewelry department. I was looking for surgical steel posts on the earrings that I need. She had no idea if there was any if they ever had any or anything to do with the jewelry. At one point you said to me if you can hang around the store for a little while the lady who runs the department would be back from lunch and she could help me. This did not help because at this point my legs were killing me and I had to go home. When I checked out the cashier was most helpful. I told her of my experiences throughout the store and she looked at me and said I am so very sorry. If you tell me the names of the people that could not and did not help you will make sure it gets taken care of. I had spoken to several people and left the store very disgruntled and I feel that I don't ever want to go back to Kohl's again. They can keep the Kohl's cash that I had earned and I will probably just Shred the...
