Where do I even start. Oh, my first call there. I called to have someone come to my house and see what I could do for window treatments. They came to my friends house up the street and really helped her. Well Anna wouldn't come to me. She insisted I come to her store in Short Hills. I did want to take advantage of the "sale" and didn't want to waste time, so not only did I agree to go to her store during my work day and miss work, but I even changed the time the day of to make it convenient for her. She was helpful there and we got through what we needed. I got a quote. Negotiated a bit, got me a better price. Still way more expensive then other places, but I was hoping for better service. Guy came the next week. Measured. I had to stay home and miss the morning of work - yes miss more work- because he would only come between 10:30 and 3. Not convenient. But whatever. Then the quote changes to an extra 400$. Now the place is WAY OVER PRICED. Anna said it was because it was an outside mount. However, in the store I gave the correct measurements, but she didn't add on enough for an outside mount. How is that my fault? Or ask where I measured? Warn me even? No, nothing. Then they just cancelled my order, returning my full deposit because they didn't like that I complained about this. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. I hardly write bad reviews, but I couldn't let these people get...
Read moreYou won't find another store in the area with a wider selection of fabrics and knowledgeable designers. I recently purchased a large townhome and need assistance with furnishings, window covers, etc. for all 4 floors.
I began working with Mila who was gone when I went back to make a purchase. I later worked with Anna who came to my home for a free consultation, measurements, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and returned to the shop to place a furniture order for one room. When I visited again to place a 2nd large order, Anna is now gone.
As a small business owner myself I'm here to say that the atmosphere in the store is borderline hostile. Twice I've witnessed employees being scolded about not plugging in a device or returning a fabric swatch to it's place on the wall. How many more good designers need to leave until management gets the message?
Love the brand, quality fabrications, trim selection, etc. The store manager either sets an environment for success or failure. This manager is toxic; the employees were afraid of her and I could not wait to leave. I'm steering clear and will try out another location, I guess. Calico Corners, you...

The store is beautiful and the fabrics are as well. Many thanks to a great experience. I will be...
