This location in Sunnyvale tx on US Hey 80 is horrible!!!!!!
Starting with the male drive thru cashier who was already slow with taking my simple order started cursing at me when I was putting in my order due to he couldn't comprehend that I order a Small size for two the #7 meals one with a onion ring and the other with a fry.
He started the cursing because he wanted to explain drink sizes and him trying to figure out which meal to enter the onion ring on vs the fry one (mind you it's for the same meal so it didn't matter which burger was paired with the onion ring) so he can enter in order on his register.... His cursing at me was unnecessary due to i had already repeated to him multiple times that it was small size and no upgrades
I asked for the manager in which a woman then gets on claiming to be the manager. I repeat the order to her and she tries to do the same thing as the cashier. Unacceptable!!!!
So I request her manager in which another lady by the name of Nancy gets on and claims she is the GM who started off trying to be nice but becomes extremely rude when I ask for info to file a complaint
At this point I'm over trying to get my order in because I don't trust that this establishment staff wont tamper with my food all because of the interaction. As I pull up to leave off course the cashier zips up his jacket so I can't read his name tag.
After googling I locate the contact info and file a complaint
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND NASTY!!!!

FYI: I've lived in texas 15 years and have never had an issue with whataburger until now!!!! Covid is not to blame on how people now interact with customers when working in a service...
Read moreI only ever go here late at night and on a usual night, I’d rate 3-4 stars. I never have extremely high expectations at this location but they always at least almost get it right and I keep coming back. Tonight cemented my thoughts to never return to this location. I was in the drive thru(which took roughly 30 minutes total, despite me being the second car in line) and I overheard the Drive thru operator tell the car ahead of us that there were only two people working and it would be a minute until their order could be taken(while I can’t truly confirm because I didn’t go inside, I definitely saw the two of them scrambling to get things done when I was at the window). I get it. 2 people working would obviously put a strain on the business but with the speed that everything was moving(slow) I would have thought my order would be correct. It wasn’t. The receipt shows the correct order so I assume the mistake was made in the kitchen. But again, I expected something to be off somewhere. Food was still good and service was okay given the circumstances. My biggest problem with tonight was the fact that there were only two workers. All Shame is on management for letting that happen. Tonight was just as busy as it Normally is so obviously they should know how many people to schedule for night shift. If the staff being short was a surprise, the store should have immediately been closed. There isn’t a reason for two people to man a store. They shouldn’t be expected to be able to. Read moreI rarely write negative reviews about places. However, this is not the first time this has happened, maybe Whataburger will handle this appropriately. Last night, I ordered through the Whataburger App on our way home from the Ranger game. It said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Based on previous experiences, I ordered it when we were about 15 min out. We pull into the check out place, tap in our number and wait 10 minutes, nothing. So I go inside to make sure they have the order. Someone comes from behind the counter says " oh yeah.. they haven't even started making it. It's going to be another 20 minutes" wait...what? So, I've ordered it 25 minutes ago, and you are telling me it is going to be another 20? So almost an hour for 2 burgers? The dine in is pretty empty. There was nobody in line to order, and we have nobody in the drive through.. but still 20 min. He says yes and just walks away. So, at this point I have Adam go in, Manager comes out and says the same thing.. nothing we can do about it. It is what it is. There was a lady sitting next to us waiting for our spot - she said she had waiting 35 minutes and the order wasn't even right. As I said, this is not the first time something like this has happened. Once before I had waited 45 minutes. Another time I did an order from delivery that never came, I called the store and I was just told " well there's nothing we can do.
