I see the vision with the new ownership, but thereās some issues. Who ever was contracted to renovate the apartments must have been in a rush. Thereās āminorā things youād ignore, but little annoyances add up. Iām not going to complain to the office to get gaslit, because certain things were promised to get me to pay close to $7,000 to get into this place, so Iām sure they are aware many have no covers for their balcony when the rain/sun hits. Thereās cheap gout/calk that molds within a month or two, because the cheap gout turns into crumbs when I barely scrub the wall tikes(that also have calk smears)the calk is smeared on the bathroom tiles so when you go to clean it, your floors have goo on it. Canāt get it off for the life of me. Or an indent in the wood floor that feels like it may cave in one day. I was convinced that we had trash valet, but there is none, so I paid for trash valet that is a figment of my imagination. I was also reassured that the cover for manyā balcony already had a cleared permit, and contractors were scheduled to place it on. Itās been since July, and my plants are dead, thanks š. If Iām moving into a place, all I ask is that people are truthful, and COMMUNICATE, then I can accept almost anything, I come from NYC Iām used to worse. So I can bet halfway through the year, no balcony cover or trash valet. BUT there will be a Tesla charging station, so exciting! but no updates on smaller things promised. Which is why the activities thrown by leasing feels like my job when I get a slice of pizza for slaving all year. I want the things promised, put the funds there. Overall itās a decent place, decent amenities. The gym is a key highlight, BUT if Iām being charged to take out my own trash, Iād like a check at the end of the year for my services. Itās almost like the promotions to get people to move here are to literally play catch up, and get out of the negatives from purchasing this place. No I will not call the office because Iām disappointed, and donāt even want to be bothered. Just thug it out and leave. New businesses do need to climb the ladder and improve, but not on my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a residence here at the shamrock and don't let the pictures and front fool you. This place is poor quality. The front office is the only place that looks fancy. This place has changed ownership for the 2nd time. The new owners are bunch of penny pinchers. They constantly are putting out notices on doors about their new regulations and rules on how they are restricting how you can live. The front gate is a joke. Everybody and outside people have the same gate code. There is no security of your car or your belongings. Example, there is back way to get into the property that has no gate. It is just a hole in the wall that cars come through. In the past a tenants Wheels were stolen and left the car on bricks. If you ever take a tour on the property, notice how dead the lawn is and how poor the buildings look within. They will always show you the "Remodeled version" to lure you. The units that are unfurnished have old appliances and have ants constantly. The A/C's are extremely old and breaking down often. The Pool and hot tub is disgusting. The so called "GYM" is a small bedroom size room with a treadmill in it that is ancient. They are no longer providing Internet and Cable in the units and told tenants to get their own service. They take away features and still have the nerve to charge high rent rate and not adjust down. Makes no sense. If it wasn't due to the opportunity to rent short term, I would never live here. If you are looking for a place to stay for a month while you move or waiting for a new home then you might consider this place. Other then that, long term stay is definitely not recommended. This place is not Kid Friendly at all. Pet Friendly because you are paying extra for that. People let their dogs go anywhere on the property and children constantly step on it. Management does nothing about it. All the other positive reviews on google about this place were requested by management with the incentive of a gift card. This place no better than a cheap motel. Hopefully management reads this review in detail and changes. I do not recommend anyone who has a choice to live somewhere...
Ā Ā Ā Read more5 stars are simply not sufficient to express how satisfied and pleased myself, my family and our little dog Frost were with the living experience at the Shamrock of Sunrise Apartments. Both the management staff and the maintenance staff were truly amazing and not only always answered our issues but solved them in under a day. We had 2 minor issues during our stay - one with the AC and the other with our washing machine. Both were addressed immediately and with care, concern, and kindness by the staff. The grounds are impeccably maintained and constantly being updated and attended to; and although this is a residential apartment building, the units are extremely quite because of the block fire walls separating you from your neighbors. My kids played at the pool almost every day while my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub (see photos). The community and pool was extremely kid friendly and there was always a friend or two or three being made by one of my girls. There is a great area for walking your dogs that is lined with dog waste receptacles and disposal bags. The door to door valet trash pick up services that the community offers is an unbelievable convenience. Our apartment was spacious, and we absolutely loved the all inclusive rent/utilities payment offered which included free cable and internet. The buildings are also just a walk away from several parks including a splash park, a fantastic movie theater, and great Chinese and Peruvian restaurants. Sawgrass Mills mall is just a 5 minute drive away. For the 10 months we called Shamrock of Sunrise home, we absolutely loved it and the staff really worked overtime to make the community feel like home. I would not hesitate to recommend the Shamrock Apartments to anyone looking to live in a beautiful, professionally...
