This was my first time eating here in many years. It seems to have new owners in a new location. I ordered the granola French toast which was missing the whipped cream and berries the menu promised. Of course, by the time I got this corrected, the food was cold. It still tasted good. Someone in my party had the avocado toast which was below average. The egg was undercooked and the avocado tasted more like guacamole then anything else. My main problem is how long I waited to be helped after the meal. It took 20 mins for my waitress to bring me my check. I had somewhere to be, so I found this to be really annoying. I actually got up and went to the counter because I couldn’t sit there any longer. I would definitely return and give the restaurant another try, hopefully with a bit better service and organization.
Update 2/25: came back in and had a tuna salad bagel sandwich. It was very tasty and I would definitely order again. It came out quickly. My only complaint would be the waitress (same one I had last time) who stood in the dining room arguing the entire time I was eating. Mostly about which waitresses were assigned to which table. It didn’t seem like an appropriate conversation to have for more than 15 mins in front of customer and was at a volume that overshadowed the music and everything else happening in...
Read moreWORST breakfast I have ever have. I never knew you could mess up pancakes, they were hard as a rock. The Ruben was very cold and small, when I asked for thousand island dressing they said they would charge me for the sauce. (Typically this comes with rubens free) Also just to place our order we had to flag down a waitress after sitting there for nearly 30 minutes! No one ever refilled my coffee, each time I had to go up to the stand and ask for my coffee to be filled. No one ever checked on us, and we had to flag them down once again to simply get the check. There was only one other table, so to not give us any service in such an empty place shows they do not care one bit. I see now why it's so empty on a Saturday afternoon. I love trying out different breakfest spots since Bagel Land closed. What a shame this place is so trashy...oh and not to mention when they brought me the wrong side someone came up to me arguing how I can't have both sides acting like I'm stupid, after I told them I didn't order the other side nor did I want it. (Same guy who tried to charge me for a simple dressing) What a terrible terrible place. I recommend people go to first watch, much better food and...
Read moreWhen asked by the Man, who was maybe the manager, “how was it?” I said not “not great”.. he that “ that’s okay”…
I did come on Father’s Day. But this is a seat yourself place and they were extremely understaffed/overwhelmed. A nice girl with pink hair refilled my coffee although she wasn’t my server. My bagel was great, and I would definitely get one again from here, but my omelet was wet and runny even though I asked for it well done. It was subpar. I ended up not even eating the hashbrowns as they were burnt and my omelet I took Togo after my server offered to have it cooked well.
Disappointed because I’d love to support local, but this restaurant was lacking in almost every area. So I doubt I’d come back. The “it’s okay” from the manager also solidies he didn’t really care how my service was.. so he probably doesn’t care if I come back, anyway. I love putting my money where the businesses are appreciative and excited. And...
