Pretzel Boy's — Local services in Sunset Hills

There's only one good reason to eat at a Chik Filet, and that's so you know it's not as great as everyone keeps saying. This place is like that.

We love pretzels and were next door, so we tried it out.

It was confusing. There was no teamwork or communication between the staff and I had no idea where to even order until the crowd parted and I saw that some of them were by a checkout device. The problem was that no one greeted me or offered to take my order.

After several minutes a girl who had just been standing around asked if I needed anything and I ordered what few things were in the glass case bc I was told anything else would take ten minutes.

While this was happening, a lady who had ordered a truckload of stuff for pickup, was trying to get sauces but the bottles were all empty. She finally got the attention of one of the mindless staff who had no idea what she needed and did not think they had sauces. She finally went to the back and came out with a single bottle to replace the fifteen empties which were in the sauce area.

I kept wondering why no one would hand me my food from the case. Finally I got a bag of cold display food. The lady behind me was also handed a bag and told to be careful because it was hot. She ordered after me and was able to get things I was told would have to be made. Giant sad face for these poorly trained kids and the boss who now has my money even though he's done nothing to earn it.

The food was cold and uninteresting but was at least better than the distracted and service-anile crew.

This place has gone down hill significantly since my last review. Been by many times, and it gets dirtier every time. Poorly maintained, and now the food quality is even downhill. Brats and hot dogs so hard you risk your teeth just to eat them.

Now, apparently, you can walk off the street and walk in and serve yourself and your party! While waiting on my order to be completed- this young man walks in and goes around the counter - and puts gloves on - without washing his hands - and bags up an order and walks out - without paying. Even if he is an employee- it should not have happened. He was not in uniform, and he clearly was not working at the time. I watched him go out with the other people he walked in with and get in a car and drive off. Also jumped the line of every other person who was there. My last visit to Pretzel Boys Sunset Hills.

Seven years ago; The pretzels and brats are good. We like coming by for a special treat once in a while. Word of warning though get there well before closing. On a couple of occasions we weren't able to get there until close to closing and they were completely out...

If you LOVE pretzels, this is the place to go. They have pretzel sandwiches, as well as some speciality pretzels like sugar and cinnamon. Their pretzel nibblers are fantastic, especially when dipped in their cheddar cheese dip. They can also make speciality pretzel shapes for special occasions...HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

It has been several months since I have started to stop here on Sundays after Mass, and I have found that pretzel taste and quality is NOT what it was at the beginning. I have found that the pretzels I have been getting recently have been overdone...dry and hard! I don't know if it is the staff or the ovens or what??? I HAVE BEEN RATHER DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PRETZEL TASTE...
