I will NEVER try on clothes at this store again. If I ever shop there again, I will buy everything I’m interested in, take them home and try them on and take back what doesn’t work. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this store over the years but the dressing room debacle today was outrageous. My 12 yr old granddaughter probably had 40-50 items to try on. Ugh. I of course had to see every item to verify that they were not too short, not too tight, etc. I was verbally accosted at every turn trying to switch clothes out. Was I frustrated? Absolutely! The attendant asked if I wanted a manager and I said yes. (Jennifer, Amazing BTW) came and explained that the employee was new and they are trained this way. Jennifer has helped me and my granddaughter in the dressing room several times before and I’ve never had to deal with this disaster before. Other women were even chiming in that it was ridiculous. Even though I couldn’t wait to get out of there, I apologized to the 2 dressing room attendants and we continued our quest. 30 minutes later Elaine (got her name from another manager) comes in and stands over me barking orders. I asked “ Who are you?” She would not give her name though I asked multiple times, and said she was clocked out so she didn’t have to tell me her name. She said her employee claimed I was yelling at them and that I threw things at her. I literally laughed out loud. Absolutely ridiculous lie! All Elaine had to do was ask the other employee standing there if it was true and she would have found out quickly that her new employee had lied to her. Check the video footage Elaine and see that your employee was lying and made a total fool out of you. I was literally shocked that especially as a manager she would treat a customer this way. Jennifer on her own deserves 5 stars. She backed her employees but also talked calmly to the customer de-escalating the situation. Hopefully Jennifer will be set up to train other employees like Elaine on how to speak to customers in the future. Horrible experience for me and my granddaughter. Elaine is the only reason I posted...

Great selection. I found what I needed and a few extra things. That’s the reason for the 2 stars. Unfortunately it turned into a negative shopping experience. After choosing luggage and purses I moved on to clothes. I spent 45 minutes selecting a few things to try on and was told at 7:59 that the the dressing rooms were closing at 8pm. The store closed at 9:30pm. No warning, no announcement. I talked to a manager explaining that I had just spent a lot of time choosing clothes to try on and I would not have done that if I had been informed. He told me I could use the bathroom. I asked if there were mirrors to see the pants I as trying on. Nope. He said they usually make an announcement. I argued that since they didn’t he should let me try on my clothes. He did but I watched many other people pushing loaded carts of clothes be turned away at the dressing room. This is a terrible policy, but if it has to be done for staffing reasons they should at least make several announcements to warn people. I have also been going to this store for 20 years and the customer service and checkout experience has...

BEWARE!! Shopping at TJ Maxx on Brodie Lane, i’m usually a clearance shopper and that’s where you’ll find me. I found some bikini bottoms that were in the clearance section for 799 went into the fitting room to try them on. The little tag popped off a plastic bat on went to go pay for my purchases. The lady said this is a two piece I said yes I understand. I couldn’t find it so I just want the bottoms. She then went to get the manager who went to go look for something similar for $13.99 I couldn’t believe they try to overcharge me. I tried myself looking for something similar and couldn’t find it and I just saw a well. I’m sure they will honor the price. I was WRONG! The management and staff are very rude. Except for a couple gals (older cashier) and dressing room lady she likes to talk and engage. The rest do not care to talk to you at all. Especially the manager (talk male) WED 7/19/23, They are just trying to push us out like we are cattle. I will never go to this TJ...

Update 10/02/2023: Super long line and barely anybody manning the register! 12/27/2022 The cashier told me I had to pay the Christmas items that were 50% off separately. Because the system didn't allow hin to enter the 50% off items and the rest of the items on the same bill. I found out that same day at Home Goods (owned by the same corporation) that he was lying. They can put all items on the same bill, he was just being lazy! I was also told that when cashiers say that it pushes people to decline the 50% discount so TJMaxx charges more!
