We wanted to drop a MASSIVE thank you to the Best Buy crew! That’s YOU: Jesus, David, and Mark! Shopping for a new fridge could've been a total nightmare. But wow - these folks made it so smooth. The team was incredibly helpful, actually listened to what we needed, and didn't just try to upsell us on some random expensive model. My wife and I walked out feeling like we'd won the customer service lottery. They took the time to break everything down, answer ALL our questions, and made sure we got exactly the right fridge for our growing family. No stress, no hassle - just pure awesome service. If you're thinking about buying an appliance, hit up this Best Buy. Seriously. These guys prove that brick-and-mortar stores still know how to take care of their customers. 10/10 would recommend! 🙌

It was pretty easy to find everything and I had multiple associates come up to ask if I needed help finding anything. I asked one guy if a certain hard case would fit the MacBook I had and I showed him the specifications of it from a picture I had of the back of the box. He looked at it for half a second and said “yeah that’ll fit” so I bought it. I came home to try it out and it was too big for my MacBook by just shy of half an inch. The case costed me about $50 and I did not get a receipt so I guess that’s $50 down the drain. It’s sitting in my closet if anyone wants a free MacBook Pro hard case. The soft case I bought fit fine, it was 14” while my MacBook is 13”.

This Best Buy store in US-290 South Mopac have them all, strategically located in the mall area there with ample parking spaces. Very courteous sales associates, greeters, and most all the store is beautiful with wide selection of electronic items. I was surprised that they now carry both Apple and Microsoft products as well as kitchen appliances such as refrigerators. The interior of the store is spacious and nicely laid out. Have I mentioned the Greek Squad staff and services? Yeah, they complement the over-all store shopping experience.

My husband and I recently purchased a 75in tv from this store in their Magnolia department. Let me start off by saying that everyone that was involved in this sale was absolutely wonderful. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. They answered all of our questions and allowed us to browse around freely.

This rating and review is for the geek squad department. A week after our tv was purchased, it was scheduled for delivery on 10/11/19 at 1:15pm. Henrico was the person assigned to deliver our tv. He called my husband a couple times to let him know he was on his way (which was great because he kept in touch). During this time I was having my new dryer delivered as well. When the dryer guys came and knocked on the door, I was in the master suite on the furthest end of our home and still was able to hear the knocking.

When BestBuy delivery time approached, Henrico (delivery guy) was nowhere to be found. He stated that he came by and knocked on the door but there was no answer. Untrue, because I was back and forth between the living room and utility room (which is closest to the front of our home). He then said that he sat outside for 15 minutes and never saw our doors open up. Another untrue statement because the guys that delivered our dryer left at 1:35pm based on the paperwork that I received. If Bestbuy came at 1:15 and sat for 15 minutes, he would’ve seen my dryer guys leave. He never once made a phone call while supposedly sitting outside waiting for the 15 minutes when he had no problems calling while in route. Hmmmm....

Proper procedure for delivery services from them is when someone isn’t home or not answering the door, they are suppose to leave a hanger tag stating that they stopped by. There wasn’t one on our door stating so.

My husband tried calling him many times but he never answered. When he finally called back, he stated that he had late deliveries and would get back to us after he’s done to let us know whether or not he can make it back out to deliver our tv. We never heard a call back.

My husband finally called the dispatcher to find out what was going on with our delivery and was told that it was rescheduled for 10/20/19. Totally ridiculous because we shouldn’t have to wait after failure on the delivery guys behalf because he couldn’t do his job properly and for failing to follow up with your customer after promising to do so.

I was on the phone with the dispatcher for about 30 minutes and she too promised me that everything was properly notated and she would contact me herself when she came in the following day and to also have the manager contact us and still, NOTHING!!! This has been a total nightmare. Service has never been so bad and I’ve never been so disappointed with them. I took off off work on an overtime shift to wait for everything to delivered before I go back to work this evening and still, NOTHING is done. Lost money from missing work, no compensation as dispatcher promised ( while on a recorded line) and still no TV. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!!!

Again, this review is for: HENRICO, THE GEEK SQUAD DELIVERING SERVICE TEAM,THEIR DISPATCHER AND MANAGER OF...

Very unfortunate experience with the purchase of our new fridge. We were in the middle of moving and needed a new fridge. We stopped at this best buy and found a very good deal on an open box a Samsung.

We made the purchase and used a 10% birthday month discount. Bb moved the fridge to their warehouse since we would be taking delivery for 3 weeks.

Fast forward to two days ago, we're moving to the new place and the fridge is delivered. Well, a forklift had hit it at the warehouse badly damaging the front and ripping off the handles. The delivery person looked disappointed and said I could refuse delivery, which I did. This put us right in the middle of a big move, with 3 kids under 4, and no fridge.

I called bb and chatted with bb online. I spent over an hour and a half, was transferred 5 times and explained the situation over and over again. Finally the 6th person told me since this was an in store purchase I had to call the store and speak to the appliance manager.

I called the store was transferred multiple times and eventually was told the appliance manager would call me back. His name was Jon and he eventually did.

I explained the situation to Jon, but he was fairly aloof. I asked him to help me get the fridge I purchased at the price I paid. Bb has put me in a tough spot since it's hard to get it for long without a fridge. Jon said the best he could do was sell me the same fridge I had bought for the same price as a competitor (Lowe's). He could not even apply my 10% coupon from the original purchase.

I slept on it and went in the next day to talk to Jon in person. I asked him to help me fix this situation. He said "I can't give you a discount on this fridge. I will lose my job and I'm not about to lose my job."

Me: "who makes they decision?" Jon: "my manager" Me: "can I talk to him?" Jon: "no"

Me: " I don't need a discount on this fridge, but I need a fridge, and would like to receive one comparable to the one I bought for the price I paid can you help me resolve this?" Jon's only solution then was to try and sell me 3 worse refrigerators for $500 more than I paid.

Me: "can you see if another store had an open box fridge that's comparable?" Jon: "I have to look them up one by one" Me: "can we try that" Jon: "I'm not going to stand here and look up every item in the store" Me speechless

My intersection with Jon was the most dissatisfying of all. I had hoped as a manager he would be interested in helping me come up with a satisfactory resolution, or at the very least propose some solutions.

Finally I asked: "what would you do if you were me right now?" Jon: "I would ask for a refund and leave"

Sadly that's what I had to do. Together my wife and I have invested over 3 hours in remedying this situation. This best buy, and particularly Jon in appliances we're unable to help us and I can't imagine a more...

The management at this place does not know how to train employees. Even the manager herself knows very little about anything especially how to treat costumers.

Here is a something that happened a month or so back. The Xbox 360 E came out and I went to purchase it since their website said they had it in. I asked an employee if they had them in the back (since they didn't in the floor) and he "went to check". He came back and told me that they hadn't gotten them in yet and they would have them till later in the week. I decided to just call customer service and ask if they had it. They guy said that he had one and took my order via the phone and told me to pick it up in half an hour. I went an hour later and they hadn't brought it to the front. They had to send someone to the back to get one. 10 minutes later I got one.

The point is that the employees had been lazy enough to not open the box of Xbox 360's they had in the back to get one for me when I was in the store. Pathetic. The people in the cellphone section know very little about the phones they are selling.

I went with my mother to get her a chrome book and she asked a guy if you can take a screenshot on the computer. He told her that you couldn't since its not a real computer. I knew you could so I showed my mom how it was done. How can someone working selling laptops not know the functions of a laptop? It's not their fault. They were either not trained correctly or shouldn't have been hired in the first place.

If I was a regular customer I would have walked out without a 360 or a Chromebook and gone somewhere else like Amazon or just not have bought the product. No wonder Best Buy is doing so bad. The worse part is that it has the potential to be an awesome store.

If you are going there then know about the products beforehand so you don't get faulty information from people working there.

Update: Brought down one star due to Pacific Sales. We bought an oven and they scheduled it for delivery in two weeks. Two weeks later they call and confirm they are coming tuesday. Tuesday comes and they don't come, we call and they said that there was a mistake and they would have it next week. Next week came and nothing, we called and they told us that next week. We decided to go to the store to see what happened and the guy said they sold it to someone who walked in so they had to order another for us...? Come on, pathetic. We cancelled the order, don't do business with them.

It is a nice looking...
