Update as of 10/15: There are a number of reasons I would have chose a different property to move into and regret every day signing a lease here. The apartment is decent but is drastically different from the apartment they showed us prior to move in. The first major issue is that the leasing professionals lied multiple things regarding the apartment prior to move in. They lied about the apartment having washer and dryer hook ups. Since I moved here in March they have shut water off 10 scheduled times in under 6 months. The property staff also have inconvenienced my household once a week by shutting off the water every single week from 9a-12p when we need to get ready for work.
The leasing office did lie in their review response saying they changed system and don’t shut off water for the whole building, they have done it many more times between July and this updated review in October.
I never have lived somewhere we cuts water off once every 7 days to “ install main water valves in vacant units”. It seems like you don’t value your tenants who have already paid rent to have the respect of getting ready in the morning. I have also been harassed by residents with no action taken from the property management after being notified. Leasing office staff are not proactive when it comes to maintenance. I personally think the apartment is okay and but all of these other stressors have progressively made it not a great place to live in my opinion. I have had less stress living in poverty as a child. Management says they are “open to discussing issues” but do not email back when copied directly on emails. Went without hot water for a day conveniently the “office was closed” for the July 4th holiday. Emergency maintenance staff is a non existent lie and had no ability to restore water so our whole building went without water on the 3rd of July and 4th of July holiday. It was fixed by 11am on the 5th and went back out again on July 7th. When following up with office staff I was met with being yelled at and hung up on by office staff Blaire when expressing concern about spending days without hot water at this point. Going without hot water for a day and a half in 100+ degree when rent+ utilities is over $2000+ is absolutely unacceptable. being yelled at by staff is the cherry on top of an unfortunate situation. They replied to my original review showing no empathy and 0 accountability for the role their property played in all of this. Neighbors are racist, unwelcoming and menacing.
The newest issue is that the property management has not paid their landlord portions of the duke bill and there is a notice that they will disconnect electricity for the entire building due to the property staff’s negligence to pay their electric bill.
Would not recommend living here and absolutely WILL NOT be signing...

I wish I could give Indian Creek Apartments zero stars, as my experience living here has been nothing short of a nightmare. I can confidently say this is the worst place to live.
First and foremost, the facilities and units are severely outdated. The appliances in my apartment look like they haven't been updated since the early 2000s, and the overall condition of the units speaks volumes about the lack of investment in maintaining the property. The carpets are stained, the walls are peeling, and the fixtures are old and worn out. It feels like living in a time capsule, and not in a good way.
When it comes to maintenance, the situation is equally frustrating. Requests often take an unreasonably long time to be addressed, if they are addressed at all. I've had several issues in my unit, from leaky faucets to heating problems, and each time I’ve submitted a maintenance request, it has taken weeks to get a response. When maintenance workers finally do show up, it often feels like they are just doing a half-hearted job instead of properly fixing the issues.
One of the most unpleasant aspects of living here is the dog poop situation. It seems that many residents do not take responsibility for their pets, and as a result, the common areas are littered with dog waste. It’s not only disgusting but also a health hazard. I’ve brought this issue to management's attention multiple times, but they seem indifferent to the concerns of the tenants. This lack of care extends beyond just the cleanliness of the property; it feels like management has no regard for the well-being and comfort of the residents.
Speaking of management, they are perhaps the worst part of living at Indian Creek Apartments. They are unresponsive and uninterested in the needs of tenants. Any time I've tried to voice my concerns or seek assistance, I’ve been met with dismissive attitudes and empty promises. It’s incredibly disheartening to feel like your voice doesn’t matter, especially when you are paying good money to live here.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering Indian Creek Apartments to think twice. The combination of outdated facilities, slow maintenance, unsanitary conditions, and poor management makes this place utterly unlivable. Save yourself the headache and...

While the physical improvements to the facility are noted, it's unfortunate that the same management remains in place — individuals who continue to show a lack of loyalty or genuine care for tenants, viewing them simply as dollar signs. Disappointing and unacceptable.
Our experience at Indian Creek Apartments' Management was deeply disappointing. The units are outdated and significantly overpriced for what’s offered. Maintenance is consistently slow to respond — we’ve gone days without water, and even then, repairs are delayed without urgency or communication.
What’s most disheartening, however, is the lack of humanity and basic consideration from management. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, while many struggled, we chose not to rely on government assistance and instead paid our rent faithfully out of our own savings. We also never complained about the issues with the units and property — not even when maintenance failed to resolve issues in a timely manner. We were respectful, quiet, and low-maintenance tenants.
After years of loyalty and patience, the management rewarded us with an unexplained 8% rent increase — no improvements, no upgrades, no justification beyond a cold “because we can.” That statement alone revealed everything we needed to know about how little they value their residents.
The absence of compassion, gratitude, or even basic decency was the final straw. We chose to leave — and I encourage others to think twice before moving in. There are far better-managed communities where tenants are treated with respect, not as...
