I love this store!!! I've been really getting into fragrances, like perfumes and stuff, over the past couple months. I've been watching YouTube videos and going to various stores, like Ulta and Sephora, and trying out different ones.
I've also been getting into some niche fragrance houses, like Argos and Mancera, and I've sampled houses like Kilian, Creed, PDM, and MFK. My four favorite full bottles I've bought so far are Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill, Argos Bacio Immortale, which means Immortal Kiss, and it's pretty much just like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Paradise Garden, and Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP. As far as just samples go, I think Kilian Angels' Share or LV Ombre Nomade are my favorites so far. I just got MFK Grand Soir yesterday, and I'm not sure if I love it or not yet. It's my first experience with any MFK fragrance.
For the money and convenience and overall experience, there's just no comparison to the Louis Vuitton store! They don't bother you, or act like you're doing something wrong, if you hold the tester fragrance bottle for a second too long, like at other stores. They don't have alarms or tethers on the tester bottles either. It's really cool how they create such a laid back, welcoming environment, even when it's crowded with people.
The biggest news that I learned when I bought my first LV fragrance the other day, was that they will refill it for way less money than buying a new one! So I might as well go hog wild, and just douse myself in this magical amazing smelling elixir (I chose Pacific Chill first) but I got a free sample of L'immensite and Ombre Nomade too! I'm planning on getting a full bottle of Ombre Nomade, for my cold weather signature scent, but I know it costs more than the one I got already.
Pacific Chill is one of their more economically priced fragrances, and it's awesome for warm weather, like my current climate. It costs $320/100 ml and $450/200 ml, and to refill them, it's $100 cheaper, relatively. I'm not sure how much more the Ombre Nomade costs, but I think the 200 ml costs over $600 new. Those aren't cheap, in the grand scheme of things, but in contrast to niche houses like Creed, or even just some of the high end designer options, like YSL Babycat, that costs $500/100 ml, even on Amazon!
I've visited this Louis Vuitton store twice so far. The first time, it was pretty empty and I did feel kinda out of place, like the big security person kept following me around, but once I found someone, she was really nice and showed me the fragrances, and I thought about it for a few weeks and then went back. This time, I just walked right up to the fragrance table and started trying them out, and just asked the first person I saw for help, and asked if I bought a 100 ml bottle, if they would hook me up with a couple free samples, and he did!
He said his name was Chad, and he did an awesome job. It was clear that he's into fragrances too, and we had a really nice conversation. I can't wait to go back. I was really apprehensive before I visited the store, but there was no need to be. I can't...
Read moreOur whole family flew in from Kansas City to come to Louis Vuitton to purchase our first purses. We had this trip planned since pre-covid. We were beyond excited for this whole experience. We booked an appointment with Madi + we are so happy we did. Our first appointment was on a Friday at 11am. We got there a little early + waited in line. The line does get a little long due to COVID, but we weren't worried since we had an appointment already booked. Once that clock turned 11:00am, we shreiked with excitment while Madi came to the front to introduce herself and take us under her wing. Madi led us inside, giving us a tour of the whole store. Once we were finished with the tour, Madi had a whole table in the back of the store waiting for us. She had the few different purses, wallets and make up bags that we were deciding on set out for us to look at. While we tried on + talked all about the handbags, Madi made us feel so comfortable during our shopping experience. She not only told us about all the bags, but also gave us the history of LV. I don't feel like you could go anywhere else + get the speical experience we had with Madi. We felt pretty lucky! The store had received a shipment that Friday morning, but were short staffed that day so they would not be able to get into shipment that day. Madi had told us one of those bags we came for was in that shipment. Madi bent over backwards to make sure we left happy (AND WITH A LOUIS IN OUR HANDS!). We ended up going back the next day, so we could come back for the purses that were in that shipment and to pick up our items that we had hot stamped.
Fast forward to the next day, we met with Madi to see what they got in the shipment from the prior day. Madi set us up at the back table again with all of the bags ready for us to look at! Good news was one of the bags was there but the other one did not end up coming. In the end, we ended up having to order one of the bags and wallets. But we were so happy with our experience that NO DOUBT we would come back to Kenwood Louis Vuitton just for Madi. HANDS DOWN THE BEST CLIENT ADVISOR! We plan on flying back in a couple weeks to come pick our bag + wallet up. We are sure we will receive the same superb service from Madi. So, thank you Madi for all your patience, kindness + endless laughs during our time at...
Read moreI purchased a bag in sept. Of 2024 at this location, at the beggining of November I noticed some peeling on the strap of my bag- let me preface, I am extremely careful and mindful when I carry it because I know it’s an investment. They did offer to fix the strap for me and specifically put in the paperwork which side of the strap to put my hot stamp initial back on (I have a copy of this). After waiting a little over 6 weeks for my “priority” repair. My sales associate who sold me the bag let me know it was ready. I picked it up a few hours later, my fiancé and I who are always put together, dressed nice but causal, were immediately judged when we arrived to the store. Finally, one of the associates asked if she could help and as soon as I said I had a repair pickup she looked at me as if I was a vain of her existence. She brought my bag out, didn’t speak a word after I thanked her. Quickly after arriving home I realized my hot stamp was put on the WRONG side so you can’t see it when I wear it. 2,300 hundred dollars on a bag… this should not be an issue, along with the peeling after 2 months is even more disappointing. To top it all off, I reached out to my sales associate immediately to tell her the repair looks amazing but expressing my disappointment that something so simple was done wrong after waiting weeks in a very professional manner, I NEVER heard back. It’s been over 2 weeks and still no response. I called the corporate line and they put an express request in to the kenwood location to call me, the women on the phone was extremely friendly and professional. She told me they have 36 hours to get back to me, it’s now been almost 3 days. Needless to say, I will continue my bag designer collection else wear, online, or at other locations and will not be shopping with kenwood Louis...
