Popeyes Kenwood — Restaurant in Sycamore Township

I usually order from here once in a while, but I won’t be doing that anymore. I’m not usually one to have a bad experience but what I just experienced was super unprofessional. I work inside the mall where this Popeyes in located. I ordered a three piece, And when my flu was brought back to me, there was only two. I went back downstairs and went up to the register and informed the lady with the piercing above her lip. I didn’t catch your name, but she was an older African-American woman. She immediately asked me what happened to the third piece and when my food was brought back to me, there was only two. She goes “there was a third piece in here” and I’m trying to inform her that there wasn’t which is why I’m back down here. I work in the mall so I’m always respectful to anyone working in the mall because we’re under the same management, and I know things can get busy. She proceeded to put my third piece in the bag rudely and dropped my bag back down on the counter ripped it more and just turned around. I don’t know if she’s new or not but I haven’t seen her before and that’s just not how you act. I understand if you’re busy you’ll forget things, but insinuating that I’m lying is unprofessional. Have not had Popeye's chicken in a while. I thought I would give the Kenwood Towne Centre's location a try since I live nearby. Food was good...otherwise my experience was sub-par. Stood in front of a person in front of a register who eventually told my the guy next to her would take my order. I could barely hear him speak. Took my order..got it ..and realized it was all white meat.....I HATE chicken breasts as they are usually dry. Why did he not ask white meat or dark?? My fault for assuming but you would think that would be the natural question if there is a choice. Also, are Combos the only option? Again, my fault for not asking but I really did not need a side and a drink. Menu only shows combo option...I am certain it is to increase sales. That said, $15 for a 3 piece combo is RIDICULOUS! Is the price higher because it is a Mall? Also, got charged a tax for eating in even though they have it to me in a to go bag. Maybe a policy since there is an eating area but still. Food was really good but because of the issues I described I will not be returning to this...

102423 - I have been wanting to try Popeyes weekday 11 to 2 special that is advertised on T V for quite a while. I went to this location at 1 pm. & and looked over the menu board but didn't see it. I asked if they had any specials, and I was told no. I asked if they had a special from 11 am to 2 pm & I was told no. I said I have been seeing an advertisement for months for some type of tendors special & another employee stepped in & said yes, there was an advertisement for that but they didn't have it at that location at the food court in the mall. I told the employees I would need a few more minutes to look at the menu then. As I looked around the food court I noticed a Charley's Cheesesteaks right next door, I've been wanting to try that to, so, screw Popeyes! I went to Charley's and it was awesome! I would suggest everyone go there instead of this...
