New China Grove — Restaurant in Syracuse

The menu has a pepper symbol and an asterisk saying the orange chicken is spicy. Knowing it would not be, I ordered extra spicy. It was not spicy at all. Not exaggerating. There was not so much as a single pepper in it. So not only is the base "spicy" on the menu not, but neither is the "extra spicy" request at all. The term has no meaning to them. I might as well have ordered world peace and been less disappointed in the result. Maybe if I'd requested world war 3 we'd get some peace in conflict zones, doubtful. It’s been a struggle trying to find some really yummy-licious Chinese food. We stumbled across this restaurant after moving to Syracuse and decided to give it a try. We got the family meal deal that consisted of 2 entree meals, 2 appetizers and 2 soups. For our entrees, we got General Tsaos chicken and chicken broccoli with ham fried rice, 2 egg drop soups, 2 egg rolls and 2 friend shrimp. Everything was delicious . Fantastic service, delicious food, and cozy vibes!

I had such a great experience ordering from New China Grove. The service was absolutely fantastic—friendly, quick, and super attentive to details. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish I tried was spot on, from the appetizers to the main courses.
