I left my Webex meeting with Syracuse Justice Court with serious concerns about the professionalism and fairness of its proceedings. During my trial, the judge openly laughed multiple times—behavior that felt dismissive, unprofessional, and highly disrespectful toward someone exercising their right to a fair hearing. Such conduct undermines confidence in the integrity of the court.
In addition, the state prosecutor referred to me as “immature” and went as far as to make threatening remarks while I was excluded from the main group. This is unacceptable conduct from an officer of the court and only reinforced the lack of impartiality and respect I experienced.
Courts are supposed to uphold justice with dignity, fairness, and respect. My experience in Syracuse Justice Court reflected the opposite. If this is the standard of treatment, it raises serious questions about accountability and the proper administration of...
Read moreEmbarrassing work ethic of the people here. I have called a few times a day for the past 3 weeks trying to pay a ticket. I left multiple voicemails and no one ever returned my call. Today I finally just decided to call every hour until someone answered. They finally picked up and I had a charge for $52 for not paying my ticket within the first 14 days. Which I had no idea of that rule as I have not received a ticket in Utah before. Even though it was my responsibility to pay it in time, I was unable to online because they apparently live in the dark ages. I counted up and I had called 24 times in 3 weeks before anyone answered my call and I left 3 messages. They told me there are multiple clerks and that she had personally not received any of...

Do your jobs people I spent more time trying to call than it took for them to...
