This venue was incredible! Olympic Valley was the greatest place to get married and fulfilled our dreams of having a wedding among the trees. The village was a fantastic center of the whole weekend as this was a destination for all attendees (including us), and we’d highly recommend that the majority of your guests stay in the village.
We held our rehearsal dinner in the village, which was booked through the same sales person as the wedding (Jenna). They had a suite of options to choose from for a buffet, and we used the “Bar One” space on the deck facing the mountains. It was truly picturesque.
Olympic Village Event Center (formerly Olympic Village Lodge) was very close to the village (walking distance, only 7 minutes) and continues the mountain-setting theme throughout both locations, so everything feels united. The reason this is great is because your whole wedding weekend will feel continuous and intentional. The venue planning staff worked very closely with us and our wedding planner, and made sure that any venue-provided decor, food, beverages, etc. were all to our liking. The chef made a challah for us because we got married on Shabbat; they also made a gluten free wedding cake and allowed us to bring in donuts from a third party company so we could set up a donut wall. We went to take our sunset photos much earlier than expected (we planning for sunset at 8:15, but the sun went down at 6:30 so we were gone while others ate dinner) - but when we got back to our table for speeches, the venue planner had prepared two plates of food for us with a little bit of everything for us to try.
Everyone who worked there was so friendly and we were so glad we chose to have our wedding here. The cost was right on target, and while there were some hiccups of having to have the same conversation a few times because the original planner we had worked with left 2 months before our wedding, the event itself turned out to be a dream and looking back, we wouldn’t have done a single thing...

I recently had the opportunity to watch the Warren Miller film 'All Time' at the Olympic Village Event Center, and it was an experience that deserves to be shared. This venue isn’t just a place; it’s an ambiance, a vibe that perfectly complements an event like this.
The Olympic Village Event Center, with its unique blend of historical significance and modern facilities, provided the ideal backdrop for watching a film that celebrates the thrills of skiing and snowboarding. The setting felt almost as if it was an extension of the film – immersive and vibrant.
What stood out to me was the sheer character of the place. It’s not your average event center; it has a personality, a flair that makes any event held here feel special. The Warren Miller film, known for its captivating cinematography and adventurous spirit, found a perfect home in this venue.
The setup for the film screening was impressive. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, ensuring that the audience could fully immerse themselves in the experience. It felt less like watching a movie and more like being a part of it.
The Olympic Village Event Center also scores high on comfort and accessibility, making it easy to relax and enjoy the film. The atmosphere during the screening was just right – a balance of excitement and comfort that is hard to find in standard movie theaters.
In conclusion, the Olympic Village Event Center is a fantastic venue for film screenings and likely other events as well. Its unique atmosphere and excellent facilities made our viewing of 'All Time' a memorable experience. It’s definitely a place worth checking out for anyone looking for a cool spot to attend an event...
